This has to be a joke, right? Aside from the rule-bending that will have to take place to allow it, he'd be taking the place and ruining the Olympic dream of a more-deserving youngster. If it does go ahead, I hope damn well he gets beaten in the first round by an awesome Cuban.

The olympics is a big contradiction. In some events you can be a professional and enter the olympics whilst in other events you need to be an amatuer. In my view the olympics should just be about the best competing against each other, whether they be amatuer or professional.

Any sport were the ultimate prize isn't winning an Olympic gold shouldn't be in the Olympics.

Floyd would only want a gold medal to make a medallion out of it:

Pro and amateur boxing have different codes though. And you could say that Olympic gold is the pinnacle of amateur boxing...
