What a great fight

Khan by one or two for me there. I think he banked enough of the early rounds, knockdown aside, to take this one,

Diaz won that for me.. just.

khan will win on points because of corrupt judges

Great fight. Bredit to both of them.

If Diaz loses it is a fix. Fact. He landed all of the best shots, Amir ran for huge parts of the fight.

Khan has probably won that but Smeg me, he might as well have lost. There are no fights out there for him.

Khan by 3.

Best fight I've seen in a while.

The pace right to the end was great.

Quality punching and all round high standard.

Got Khan winning by a whisker 114-113

I have Khan by 1 or a Draw....Diaz deserves the draw. Davidemore I think you may be getting excited by the commentators who everytime Khan gets caught think he is on the way out.

Yes a couple of times he was on wobbly legs but not as much as they would have you believe. I had Khan winning 3 maybe 4 rounds but 2 were 10-8 Rounds.

Great fight! I have Khan by one as well.

And there it is.

Hardly a fix Davide Khan boxed well on the back foot for majority of the fight, Diaz landed in 3 rounds and they where his best rounds easily. The others where very close.

if khan struggled with diaz who is not a massive puncher and was seen as past it how will he cope with the big guns?

Nonsense. There are boxers who see his vulnerabilities and will target him. Plenty of big fights for an exciting and vulnerable fighter.

It was only a good fight because Khan is pony. Exciting but pony.

What rounds did you have for Diaz? I would hedge my bet that any you gave him you scored each one 10-8!!

It was close and far to close for someone hoping to clear out 140!! But Khan probably did just enough.

Say what you like about his chin but the guy has heart and should be applauded for not just carrying on but also still mixing at this level. Harrison is an example of someone with a crap chin but look at the differences in level between the two!!!

Nice when at least one judge calls it exactly as you do...

No probs with the decision but he's done as a top level fighter.

Arm punches for the majority of the fight Hampo, flurries to look good, hanging on, massive shots landed by Diaz. Canelo vs Trout style. It was close, i had it to Diaz by one or two, but it was not, NOT three to chinny. No way.

115-112 Khan for me. I gave Diaz the 4th (10-8) and the last three. I really can't make a case for a Diaz win.

He's chinny, and will be badly KO'd by a Garcia or a Lucas.

Honestly thought Khan just, just won, by the skin of a fingernail. No argument with a draw or even a razor-thin decision for Diaz.

Had Diaz winning that personally, but with Khan being the home fighter, I thought he'd get the decision. Another exciting fight, Khan' fights always are, but I can't see him succeeding at the very top level anymore. Offensively great, but footwork, defence, and chin all poor. He's set in his ways as well. Every fighter in the world will know how to fight him by now.

Diaz was in good shape. He saw this as a big opportunity. You'd have to feel for him a bit given what he put into the fight.

I like Virgil. He doesn't miss much.

No way. I had Khan up by 3. Last 3 rounds and the 4th to Diaz.

same here, got a long shift tommorow, whatever this means for khan - a few fights like this could revive boxing overnight.

If he couldn't take a shot he would have been knocked out tonight as he took a fair few heavy shots and came back. He gets wobbled but showed tonight he can recover, it's a pet hate of mine that as soon as someone gets wobbled fans say he can't take a shot. It's the second camp with a new trainer and he you could see differences. He boxed smart, besides one incident which I'm sure can be ironed out, he used the jab a lot better and blocked a lot more punches than we've ever seen him block before.

He shouldn't be rushed back in to world title fights, he needs at least two more camps to really get this style of boxing mastered IMO.

Khan isn't chinny as such more that he suffers from Frank Bruno syndrome. He goes to pieces when he's tagged and is desperate until he can clear his head. All his rivals know this so at the highest level he is a sitting duck for me. Which is unfortunate as he has got some great punches.

Khan - just, 7 rounds, 2 x 10-8 for Diaz and him winning two others.

His next fight is for a world title according to Shaefer.

Possibly because I thought he landed the better shots and controlled the latter of the fight? Mind you, I'll give it a rewatch tomorrow.

Exciting fight but the writing is on the wall for Khan.

Same fighter as he was under Roach.

Rewatch is. Diaz won 4 rounds max. Khan won 8. The 10-8 made it a Khan win by 3 points.
