First it was George Dobell re Trego:

"Peter Trego, an ebullient and skilful cricketer, but blessed with little pace - his bowling would hardly bother a motorway speed camera...."

Now it is Tom Wigmore re Masters:

"Cook may have had an invigorating impact, but the really significant Essex returnee was David Masters, whose experience and nous were sorely missed at Wantage Road. His pace might barely bother motorway speed cameras, but he troubles the batsmen rather more, nibbling the ball both ways with unrelenting accuracy."

Who is the next bowler in line to be ignored by the speed cameras?

Ha. Liam Plunkett will be hoping he doesn't get caught by the speed cameras any time soon...

Mark Davies for Kent would barely trouble an A road speed camera, but with a FC bowling average of 22.5, who cares!
