I think they deserved it, they wanted it more and looked the more threatening side. Watford didn't impress me at all and it was only thanks to Almunia that this game wasn't over sooner. Zaha looks very very raw at the moment but still a great prospect for United and England.

Well this is why the play offs live up to there name of being a complete lottery.

Brighton and Watford a lot better than Palace. However over the 180 minutes or so Palace have turned up and the other 2 sides have not. So fair play to them and for that they deserve to win the lottery and get promoted.

At least i don't have to go to Selhurst Park next season and walk through the most working class area i have ever seen before in my life

I think this year of the Championship was the lowest in quality theres been for a long time, Cardiff were easy winners and werent great. Id expect two of three to go down, and if either Palace or Hull survive one year I dont know if they'll survive two.

Palace deserved the win, but they could have least offered some entertainment. Would rather have had the penalty shoot out in the end.

Competitive yes, and it was a great watch, but thats not what I mean by quality. I think the lowers levels of class across the league made it more entertaining but Peterborough ripped some higher placed teams apart and got relegated. The premier league relegated teams didnt really compete and none came down in a position of any strength. Quality to watch but not actually footballing quality

The Championship was superb this season.

Cardiff yes ran away as leaders. But 2nd place went right to the wire. The play off battle was superb and it threw up 2 surprise names in Brighton and Palace who i never ever thought would get there. Palace going on to win was even more of a shock.

The survival was mental. Sides in 12th spot were not safe until 2 games to go. It was a superb season and it will be even tougher next season.

Early contenders for promotion IMO. QPR, Wigan, Forest and Bolton are the sides to look out for next season IMO. Leeds and Reading as well.
