i know i probably asked for it but apart from this forum i rarely read others.
I had started following 1 on facebook and was commenting intermittently but thought id share this sight with them and for my troubles got banned lol simply put stuff it, think il stay reading this and shun the others.If they go ott if you even suggest there followers may be interested in a different forum.
not expecting any reply's not sure why ive shared this with you guess just peeved i got banned for something so trivial lol.
any way keep up the good work all i visit a few times every day. guess i wont be following the 1 on facebook no more unless i make another account lol

hehe adam i put a link up after a bit of an essay praising this place i say 606 on here as thats where i followed u lot from if i talk about it in general i will say v2 sry did say i thought the mods were a little ott on letting the banter flow mind? maybe one of ur mods is a mod there?
hehe strong i love my boxing my misses hates that i spend so much of my time reading /watching it but if im honest i haven't got no where near the knowledge of some of the posters on here. i have posted in the past but after some deleted posts (banter) feel safer just reading dont want to show the world i really haven't got a clue

I see Eastside Boxing Forum is imploding as I type this. The ESB forum has been taken over by Boxing News 24 the worst boxing site in the Internet. Boxing News 24 has had, consistently over years, the worst articles I have ever seen full stop.

Looks like ESB is just keeping the news site and has dumped the forum onto Boxing News 24.

Never really liked ESB. Very knowledgeable posters, but too many idiots singing redemption songs about racial dominance. I stopped reading all their articles as the moderators didnt seem to mind the open racism.

Esb is like reading YouTube comments... Everything gets derailed into abuse. Fairly sad indictment of society. No abuse here, just friendly banter and lots of group hugs.

Here it really isnt so bad. Over at ESB, people make the most racist claims, I can only imagine that they live in an enclosed meighborhood. things like "Dirrel is black thats why he doesnt have the guts to keep fighting. All n.....s are very weak" by a guy called "White Power", or supremacy, or something (I mean, WTF) which leads to racist comments in retaliation. Or when the Pac-May rivalry (cold war?) was at its peak.. It got very disturbing. I think as a general rule, 606 is a very chilled forum.

It depended on what section you were in on ESB. The General forum is retardville. The more specialist sections are better. Tonight they have permanently shut down the off topic Longue board and introduced a swear filter which probably means the new forum owners are trying to clean up the place. There's going to be a lot of posters migrating.
