As always, don't just be a taker. You have to give feedback on others' teams or the whole premise will break down like Azzy when he thinks there has been a bad deal.

What do you think of my team so far?

Totti is still class. He'll be carrying on next year, so he'll be a good attacking fulcrum for your side.

That's what I was hoping

I'm not going to have 11 players by the time the season starts unless you lot play ball. So whoever gets me in the first few games will have some dead easy wins.

Surprised there aren't more over 33s in the league actually, we're like FIFA addicts all drunk on young fast players.

You can get quite a strong team made up U21s...

Ivanovic - de Vrij - Garay - Baines
Alonso - Khedira
Dzagoev - Isco - Lavezzi
Soldado

Play Ivanovic at CB and sign an RB, maybe Walker off me as an interim, and you have the best team in the Prem Gregers

I'm between getting a great rb or a great cb

That's where I am at the moment. I have to work out a formation really, and maybe think about playing a DM and dropping one of my mids.

The glaring gap is the CBs Gregers, and then Soldado.

I agree with Azzy, shift Ivanovic to CB.

Depends on the CB/RB. If there's a quality CB out there I'd be tempted to play Ivanovic at RB.

That looks a very good side. You're right that your midfield feels a bit slight, and you could do with someone in there to kick some ankles.

The defence is very impressive. Two CBs who will probably be among the best in the world very soon.

WIth Sneijder, Robben, Balotelli and Lamela in attack, I think you will need a real DM in there. Marchisio needs to be playing box to box or he is wasted.

I can't add much more than has been said to you Gregers. Depends on the market really, but a better RB or CB.

I have Lucas as my defacto DM, but I am always intrigued by the balance of having a DLP and box to box midfielder there. I don't think it automatically fails if I go with Dembele - Marchisio, but I appreciate others may.

Most attacking team ever. Abate needs upgrading, the front 6 is madness, hardly any chance of protecting the back four, but going forward, untameable.

I'm not sure if soldado is a glaring gap but i see you're point

Soldado is quality, scores goals even when he's not playing well. And he plays for an average team irl too.

DLP and box to box will work if you have the right players around them. As Azzy says, the rest is too attacking to not have the DM protection in there for me

My opinion is that Soldado is over rated on here purely because he is Spanish.

Same with Negredo as well.

Kondogbia was the only one I could really think of SOd, but GSC turned down my approach

Sadly I think it is soddy. Get rid of Abate, then Lucas. And sell me Buffon.

I'll be looking to attack your right flank as Abate is more a winger than a full back, whilst Robben will not cover him at all

Swap Dembele and Marchisio around too.

I could always go for this kind of thing. Robben is great but I don't always play wingers.

Over the next week or so I reckon I can get a proper CB, move Kehl to CM and move Giggs out wide, then upgrade Gera and Henry with possibly Aimar, Klose, Milito, Pizarro etc. Not too bad I reckon.

There are some decent 33+ players knocking about still. Rio, Lamps, Xavi. Outside of the league you could look at Arango as a winger, maybe Mauri? Simao too. Although he wasn't that rated when he was young.

Trebs won't let go of Xavi for £100m, I bet you.

Haha, that's a classic Soddy. I'll keep him around until the 27th, then slot him in at CB after that

Javier Zanetti too. He's still capable of playing at a high level, in several positions if you wanted to.

Drogba, van Buyton, Carvalho, Distin perhaps

He's one of my TP options, but he just did his cruciate ligament did he not? And everyone said he's bound to retire, but he said no way Jose.

Yeah, he has a bad injury but he says he won't retire and he'll be back next year. How possible that is at 39 remains to be seen.

I think your midfield could work if you dropped Draxler and brought in another CM, even if he was attacking minded. Nice side tho

Will echo other sentiments that you need to sort the CB/RB situation. Maybe improve on Dzagoev/Soldado as well

I don't think it does either. I think a Box to box and a DLP work well together in CM. I loves your team Soddy

You've actually got the makings of a half decent side there Azzy! Keep on improving

I'm trying mate, in three weeks I can add Campagnaro to the mix as well

McAuley is the best over 33 CB in the world, funny how that works out.

Improve at RW onec Reus has gone (I don't rate Yarmolenko), then invest in a good spell-checker

Well I get Ben Arfa back when Reus goes, so he could play there but I'm deffo gonna be in the market for more attack minded players once the TP stuff is all done

Great midfield balance between those three CMs in my opinion.

Maybe the wing is where you need to up your game. Yarmolenko/Gaitan/Bernard are all in the good-not-great category, and great wingers that get the ball to Mad Man Mandz will probably get you points.
