Released/Championship/National League/Academy Bidding

First topic message reminder :

This page is for bidding for previously released, Championship, National League and academy players who are not currently in the game. In relation to previously released players this can be any player who has been at a team in the game in any of the previous five seasons. In the event that I cannot remember that player being in the game and being released you will need to hunt for some evidence of this for me. The maximum that I will charge for any player in these categories is £5 million, however if a bidding war ensues you may end up paying more.

I will leave all bids a minimum of 24 hours before answering them.

Patterson's never been in the league before as far as I know Matt so would be a foreign transfer (still at Cardiff Blues in this game).

Quite a few people have cancelled after bids been accepted. Think it is only a problem if there are 2 people bidding for the same player, don't think there is anything in the rules on it.

I've no issues with it loads have cancelled after acceptance or winning bidding wars in the past

I'v done it before and not had any issues from it or with it. In a bidding was it might be a bit harsh but it was Matt bidding by himself.

Thanks SJE. In real life loads of bids fall through despite being accepted so it's more realistic. Just because a bid is accepted it's not binding until a contract is signed.
