Just do it I say
@BB... If the cursor stays inside the yellow box, click on 'Insert a line break' (8th button from the left in the line that contains 'Bold', 'Italics', Underscore'...).

Then delete the line break, and you should be outside the box. It may be browser-specific.

All sounds a bit onerous to me having to click edit, insert line breaks, etc...why not just be able to type in the white space below?
Latest changes seem a backward step in this regard.

"Switch editor" mode works for me Smile

(then if you switch back the reply text appears in the white box below...but couldn't get into the white box area before clicking Switch Editor...weird!)

It's a great improvement; before when I wanted to quote someone I had to just type below their post, now I get to tap switch editor as well to do the same thing.

Yea Switch editor is the best option, thx to RED, he sorted it out for me, I was otherwise peed as I could either write or quote only.thumbsup
