The return of...... *RAW SPOILER*

We get a look at Payback where Curtis Axel won the Intercontinental Title. Wade Barrett waits in the ring for his rematch but out comes Vickie and Maddox again. Vickie says the rematch is going to have to wait because right now her big surprise is coming out. Here comes Christian to a big pop.

Christian gets the win after a good back and forth match. He hits Killswitch to pin Barrett.

Winner: Christian


Thoughts?

My thoughts are that its simply give him some airtime to placate him and keep him from going back to TNA.

If it leads to a Christian v Axel fued for the IC Title I think its a smart move. Being in a fued with someone of Christian's skill and experience can only be beneficial for Axel. Christian was never going to get a huge PPV return like Punk.

I was hoping for the return of kamala....very disappointed :-(

I think Christian is a decent guy to have on the roster, but I think WWE will never fully get behind him for whatever reason. He's not as charismatic as say Edge or Jericho but isn't quite good enough in the ring to make up for it. He can be a good feud for somebody like Axel though as Mr. H said.

I think the unfortunate thing with Christian is that he will always live in the shadow of Edge. Don't get me wrong, he's a great singles competitor but I think Edge breaking into the singles scene and making a name for himself first shoved Christian back quite a bit, as he wasn't getting much attention. 
I do however think that Christian should have been given a legitimate long term run with the WHC when he got it. Unfortunately, I can see Ziggler going the same way as Christian at this rate!
