Greatest Premiership Moments

Hello chaps

With the Premiership season getting ever so closer, this is usually the time where people start to get more buzzing, sides have had some pre season games, brought in some new players and fans have purchased season tickets (or in my case re-newed for my 8th season, god help me!) Fans all around the country submitting fantasy football teams, eyeing up Super Sunday fixtures and planning the away days for the season! 

An idea i had at work (yes work gets very boring) i am going to run some polls. Seeing what 606v2 members think and for everyone to vote for there greatest Premiership moments. I will need people to PM me there votes and then ill run a poll with everyone's votes, and we see the outcome from there!

Moments ill be looking for are Greatest Goals, Greatest Last Minute moment, Funniest Moment, Greatest Players, Greatest Goalkeepers, Greatest Games, Shocking Results.

If Anyone has anymore categories, they wish to have, then let me know   

So i know on numbers, could everyone say whether or not they would be interested in submitting votes

Update: I could do with a few more people who could vote, so the poll can be longer, maybe Admin could make this global so everyone on 606v2 can see and submit votes!

On Monday, ill be asking everyone to PM me there greatest Premiership Goalkeeper of all time. I would like 2 nominations. I have done 2 because, people may wish to vote for someone they have a personal link to rather than who could actually be the best keeper of all time, for example Olly may do Peter Schmicheal and Jon Ruddy. So ill have 2 votes per person

Personal favourite premiership moment was David Beckham announcing himself as a fresh-faced 21 yr old that lobbed Neil Sullivan from behind the half way line on the opening day back in '96.

Didnt John Terry once keep a clean sheet vs Wigan? Cant do better than a keeper with a 100% success rate.

Would imagine the goalie debate will go down to Cech, Schmeichel or vd Sar

I think Lehmann will be one of the most voted aswell and rightly so in my opinion.

Lehmann is very left field. Seaman, Schmeichel, Van Der Sar and Cech with an honourable mention to the longevity of Jussi, Friedel and Schwarzer. But Schmeichel remains the best keeper ive ever seen.

I'd also give a vote for Bernard Lama. He only made like 12 appearances in the PL, but he was a nutter and my favourite goalie ever.

Perhaps I was wrong, maybe he won't be mentioned.

Perhaps I was wrong, maybe Lehman won't be mentioned. He's not my personal favourite but I thought that he might of got a few mentions that's all.

Nigel Martyn and Pepe Reina had a few beasty season and need a mention I think

Richard Wright's debut season was very good for Ipswich, then he joined Arsenal and it went downhill from there. Saying that he is now the 3rd choice at Man City!

Goal - Henry vs Man Utd at Highbury, flick off right foot, swivel, volley.....neville looked a fool.
Highlight - Has to be Beckham vs Wimbledon surely.

Best foreign import? BUT that could be best player overall. Best buy? Ronaldo? Cantona? Lampard?
