First topic message reminder :

Thought I'd pop one of these up...

Norwich currently beating Bury 3-0, Ravel Morrison gives Dolphin a boner with a goal on full debut

MK Dons currently leading Sunderland 2-0 meaning Sunderland players shall be starved tomorrow

Peterborough absolutely spanking a strong Reading side as well

well that has to go down as the worst penalty shoot-out ever, surely? Three bazed miles over the bar, two more which my grandma could have saved. The saves off Fletcher and Rafael were decent enough, but the rest were awful. Note to Hodgson: Welbeck shouldn't take one at the WC...

Ultimately it's not Moyes fault. He was left a severely depleted squad, masked by the fact that United were able to cruise to last years title by being the only team not to implode. Really felt a trip to Wembley would do his credibility some good mind.

Moyes hasn't done much right bar the cl games so far. The two teams were evenly matched over 210 mins.one is a relegation candidtae and one is united.

If his team plays like that why should his team deserve luck to get through.

Every English player misses a penalty. Great.

Not Moyes fault, his team was awful. De Gea and his penalty misses all to blame.

How on earth do professional footballers actually miss penalty's that badly? Beyond belief.

Have to say I would never let phil jones take a penalty as he has little or no technical ability.

Wouldn't have trusted rafael with one either.

Still at least now we won't get molested by city at wembley, happy enough with result.

Awful penalties, non of them apart from Darren Fletcher appeared able to put the ball in corner.

What odds would you have gotten for the first leg to finish 2-1, the second leg to finish 2-1 and the penalties to finish 2-1? Very Happy

Would imagine that Woodward fella has a big say, like Gill did when Fergie was there. Pretty rare for a manager to have 100% say over transfers in this day and age

No manager nowadays is in control of transfers, Fergie was fortunate in that the recent past he had Gill who knew exactly what he was doing. Gill leaving has impacted the club just as much as Ferguson, they were the perfect combination.

Hammersmith.

Its better to look at the situation at hand. Fellani came to the club because of Moyes. No one else.

However on the flip side you may be signing the transfer of the season tommorow!

They could get Ibrahimovic for that amount. mata has barely played all season and hasn't played for 3 weeks. Rooney will leave in the summer so they will need to replace him and possibly Van persie as well.

Ibrhimovic would be a lot better and I am sure PSG would sell for £40 million.

Yes because we need Ibrahimovic when we have Rooney and Van Persie. If we sign Mata it disproves all the BS you've been spewing everywhere about champions league, if Ozil is worth £42mil then Mata isn't far off that.

i said at the start of the second half that we need to push on and kill the game off but we did the usual trick under mr negativity and sat back and allowed a poor sundeland team come at us

frigging hell, moyes was talking about extra time before kick off!! that would never have even entered fergies mind. people can say about missing players all they want but that exact same team under fergie would have walked to the final as we wouldn't have sat back and we would have killed the game off

those penalties sum up our season, cant even kick a ball properly

compelling and rich

£40 million for a player who is cup-tied in the CL and who has barely played all this season and not played for nearly the last month.

Yes he might make the difference but there are a lot better players to buy and if you spend 40 mil on mata you still need to spend 40 mil to replace rooney in the summer when he leaves.

I'm just saying that if chelsea sold him to Athletico madrid for eg in the summer he would go for about 18-20 mil not the 40 mil man u will pay.
