First topic message reminder :

Welcome to the betting lounge

Anyone is welcome to join the game at any time by simply posting in this thread and saying they wish to open an account. They will then be credited with £1000 which can then be used to bet on any of the markets i have posted below at the given odds which will be updated in the main article.
If your balance runs down to zero, you recredited with £1000. (but this will be a loan from the virtual bank) If and when you have made enough money you can pay the bank back if you wish.

The minimum bet is £10.

Remember this is abit of fun. I cant be around all the time to update...and if this thread becomes popular then i will require help running it.

Additional Rules

1. single bets have to be posted by copying and pasting from the template post, then put stake amount in brackets

eg template post will say : 06/03/2011 13:30 Liverpool v Manchester United - Liverpool @2.80 Draw @3.25 Manu @2.50
so you copy and paste and make clear you bet like this: 06/03/2011 13:30 Liverpool v Manchester United - Manu win @2.50 (£100)

2. Accuminator bets are now allowed, however you will have to consult this site to work out your bets. http://www.betcalc.com/accacalc.php

once you have worked out your bets they need to be posted like this: eg. 4-fold arsenal x manu x newcastle x spurs @xyz (£100)

just copy the odds for your win nando
i.e. 1.44 add it in the decimal bit, click yes to win, then add another under it and so on.
On the bottom of the page it will give you your final accy odds.

yes the odds are like a multiplier.

so eg. £100 @ 1.36 = £136 (100 stake + £36 profit)

So yes £250 @ 1.36 = £340 (250 Stake + 90 Profit)

I think its lot easier than trying to work out fractional odds

Chirchill you bet

3 fold accy - £100 on - Man Utd, England & India - @6.41 Lost £100
£100 on Spurs to win vs Wolves @2.38 Lost £100
£200 on Chelsea to win over blackpool @1.30 Won £60

you was on £934.50 - 100 -100 + 60 = £794.50

Kingbeer you bet

05/03/2011 12:45 Birmingham City v West Brom - Birmingham @ 2.25 (£100 on Brum) Lost £100
05/03/2011 15:00 Newcastle United v Everton - Draw @3.25 (£50 on Draw) Lost £50
05/03/2011 15:00 West Ham United v Stoke City @2.10 (£50 on West Ham) Won £55
05/03/2011 15:00 Bolton Wanderers v Aston Villa - Bolton @2.10 (£100 on Bolton) Won £110
05/03/2011 17:30 Manchester City v Wigan Athletic - ManCity @1.36 (£250 on Man City) Won £60
06/03/2011 16:00 Wolves v Tottenham - Spurs @2.38 (£100 on Spurs) Lost £100
07/03/2011 20:00 Blackpool v Chelsea - Blackpool @10.00 (100) Lost £100

you was on £1,108.50 -100 -50 +55 +110 +60 -100 -100 = £1,013.50

yes you do get you stakes back

eg if you balance is £1000 to start with then you place a £100 bet on say Man Utd to win @1.50 your balance will go down to £900 (because you have staked £100) if you win then your balance goes back up to £1000 (get your stake back) plus £50 profit so you will end up at £1050
if you lose you stay at £900

I dont know if this £100 each bet bet totalling £300, or £100 total for all the bets therefore each bet is £33.33333

i have taken it as £100 each bet totalling £300
