There will be a lot of bemoaning of Poites performance this morning, especially from certain posters, but I want to give credit to Owens who showed how good this game can be reffed.

He was in total control at all times, was unflappable, kept his head and explained every decision without anyone able to contest it.

We all whinge about poor ref decisions at times, and they are guilty of ruining a game or two, but I think that was one of the best performances by a ref I have seen in a long time.

Lets keep the thread positive, and only comment if you have another ref performance to the standard Nigel Owens set today,

Thanks

Nigel Owens is a very good referee indeed.

I do think at times he thinks a bit much of himself, and the way he refs can be overbearing, but today clap

This expression always makes me laugh as my Dad used to say it a lot when I was wee.

Thing is, I always thought he was saying,

"Credit with credit stew!"

Very Happy
