I think in the past 24 hours Afro has bought the league title.

Personally, I don't think it is that bad and there is no one position that stands out to me. You obviously could make improvements all round, but then so could every defence in the league.

Perhaps strength in depth is lacking at FB in particular

Me and CF need to rearrange or game that we missed last week. I'll be putting out a weakened team in GM 1010 so players get enough rest for the massive game against CF in the relegation battle.

Who says this league is pretend management?

See others may think that, but all I see is a massive gap where Muniain used to be. Subotic comes in for Barzagli, Schmelzer for Siquiera, Maher for Oscar, but Alonso for Muniain? Unless Afro has a trick up his sleeve, any injuries up front will crucify his chances.

I have a trick or two.

I am taking a slight chance, but I am covered for week 9, so I have two weeks to worry about and have a contigency in my head.

I love how someone criticised Totti playing for my team despite the fact he's bang in form and a big part of why Roma are top of Serie A, and Nacho who's played quite a bit for Real Madrid lately

Totti for me is one of the greatest players ever and even at this age he is playing well. If he had joined Madrid he would be mentioned in the same breath as Zidane. Totti > Zidane for me.

Zidane > Totti, and everyone else in his generation.

The Totti and Nacho comments are both odd. Not sure I would put him above Zidane, but he is a great player and is playing great. I'd love him in my squad.

Nacho, has performed well as well in those few games he played in, although hasn't played for a few games now everyone is back fit

Totti is in the best form of his last 5-7 years. He's been incredible so far this season, I have loved watching his 'renaissance' on BT Sport. And he's beautiful too

I have to agree with Viva on Totti > Zidane, remember I'm the guy who saw Zidane play c.100 times and never saw this supposed 'greatness' he had.

I'm not sure that equates to him not being great; rather just another quirk of yours.

I saw Zidane play a lot too, and I saw countless moments of greatness.

The only other player I have seen who seemed to have as much time on the ball as Zidane is Cantona. I'm pretty sure in most cases he actually had less time, as you wouldn't give Zidane too much, but he still seemed to have loads.

And that volley in the CL final (v Leverkusen?). what a goal!
