I shouldn't hate you but I do...

Simple question...who is the wrestler you should love but actually hate?

Depends what you mean by should love

Do you mean someone who has all the tools or somebody that the wwe or any other organisation push as the ones we should love eg Cena?

Either really...how I mean it is someone who everybody else seems to love but you just don't see it/actively disagree and hate them.

Mine (and I'm prepared for the hate) is Shawn Michaels.

All time I have to say Austin. Have never liked him and he has brought us the 'what' catchphrase which I hate to this day. Think the stories he was involved in were good but I didnt particularly think he was

present day I dont get the love for sandow and im not looking forward to a title reign when he cashes in.

Punk and Bryan.
Don't like Punk as an out and out face and i just don't like Bryan.

The modern day Rock - old school was ok but it's just dragged on too long now

Bret Hart - never got what the big deal was and he wear pink!!!

I have to say that Shawn Michaels seems less shocking than some of these, my reason for hating Mr Michaels are these:

1. It is well known that he was a horrible person to work with and generally a bit of a James Blunt behind the scenes.
2. While I can see that he is a talented wrestler I've just never really cared about seeing him wrestle.
3. He was part of the Kliq and cost people their careers...also he made Vader cry!

Never liked the Hardy boys.

Cena is another I just never liked.

Undertaker. Just never enjoy watching him.

Daniel Bryan.

Any reason why people don't like Bryan? I'm not saying you're wrong I'd just like some context haha

Shawn michaels - liked him in the rockers and early heel stuff but after Wrestlemnia X kinda just went off him and didnt like him till probably 2002 and even then wasnt that keen to start.

The Shield - good in the ring and good impact in WWE just dont like them, maybe its Dean ambrose causes the other are ok and dont mind so much, but just kinda think they are over hyped. Also a big smile comes on my face when i hear they lose.....especially to someone like Christian who people rag.

Both bore the hell out of me.

Hate's a strong word, but I've never understood the love Ziggler gets in some parts.

Chris Jericho, but I see no reason why I shouldn't hate him, the fact that he's a Canadian who frequently uses the word baby should be reason enough

I think he's quite one dimensional, i'm already becoming bored of him. He hasn't got the diversity to keep me interested in his character. His promo's are repetitive and I don't like his look.

The current 'corporation' storyline is brilliant and refreshing but for me they've got the wrong babyface doing battle with Orton. I wouldn't have Bryan as the one battling the office. I cant get emotionally invested in him.

I don't necessarily hate him but I think he's punching above his weight with his current push.

Sorry Hero as i say its not that they are bad, they just aint my bag which to be fair is wierd cause they should be, and im sure my teenage self would be so into them, but just not feeling it.

Edge. Never enjoyed watching him perform much and dont get the hype.

Zema Ion (whats he doing these days?) - a complete and utter tosspot.

Gail Kim - don't actually hate her but never really liked her either.

Also really don't like Dixie Carter's sudden onset of histrionics and melodrama. I like my villains to be cool, calm and calculating, rather than shrieking like demented harpies, or babbling like really bad soap actors.

Mainly didn't like the i've been beaten up for 15 mins, then suddenly shaking the ropes nodding his head like he was having a fit,  then going onto win,(hogan was the same).

The running down to the ring as fast as he could, like he was been chased by the cops.
Just the way he spoke.

Some of these are shocking! Mine? Eddie Guerrero and Christian would be two. Guerrero is so overrated it hurts. Rey Mysterio is one ive never really got.

Like Greg says, it is all opinion based, but I would be genuinely interested in knowing what makes you think Eddie Guerrero is overrated. As far as I remember he was great in the ring, was great out the ring with things like personality and charisma. He was a fantastic heel and an even better face. His popularity as a face is akin to Stone Cold in the Attitude Era and Daniel Bryan now. What was bad about him apart from his lifestyle choice which led to his demise?

I have never marked out more than when he beat Brock Lesnar for the WWE title. And it wasnt like I was still a little kid and believed it was real. I was in my teens and knew exactly what wrestling was about, but I still marked out like Leicester City had scored a goal. That was the emotion that he made you invest in him.

I was never invested in the character, didn't like the gimmick, never loved any of his matches, none of his feuds grabbed me and his death transformed him from what would have been regarded as a nearly guy to some kind of wrestling Messiah. He was like the average bird surrounded by the ugly friends in the charisma vacuum that was the Radicalz.

And I miles preferred Jericho.

Like I said before it's an opinion and I wouldn't want to deny anyone their opinion.

But I've always thought Guerrero was a brilliant wrestler with a string of classic matches in AAA, NJPW, WCW and WWF/E, his 'addict' promo just prior to No Way Out 04 was one of my favourite promos, he was a brilliant face and his heel turn in 06 managed completely reversed this (unfortunately it became bogged down in the Dominic storyline).

I said it was "akin" to Austin and Bryan. Not saying he was exactly the same. But all 3 were that loved by the crowd, they were forced to turn from heel to face.

There isn't really much similarity. I liked Guerrero, but not main event and he's not an all time great.

Guerrero wouldn't be so highly thought of if he wasn't dead.

I dont think he is necessarily in my top 10 either to be honest. Unfortunately I pretty much fased out watching wrestling not long after he won the WWE title, so I missed most of his last years. I prefer people like Austin, The Rock, Bret Hart, and even British Bulldog over him.

Shawn Michaels.

I get that he's a fantastic wrestler, one of the best in-ring storytellers the industry has ever seen.

But he's just such a complete and utter nob.

Not so much the backstage stuff, but just...him. He has always come across to me like an annoying child who is trying to get the adults' attention. That silly dancing he does. The running around thing he did before every DX promo. The fact he gets away with the sort of cartoonish facial expressions that John Cena is slated for.

I can't bear him.

I dislike Michaels a great deal (reasons a few posts up) but I have to say his match against Hogan where he was just OTT selling everything is something I'll always enjoy.

I dislike Michaels because he thinks hes cute, he knows hes sexy, hes got the looks - that drives the girls wild...

I don't get why they got rid of the El Generico gimmick to then make Los Matadores...I know El Generico is meant to be Mexican and I assume Los Matadores are meant to be Spanish but El Generico is so much better than Primo and Epico.
