Bound for Glory predictions Empty Bound for Glory predictions

Post by Adam D Sun 20 Oct 2013, 19:59

With Bound For Glory taking place later today, 3 of our (Wrestletalk TV) writers take a look ahead to the big event and give us their predictions for what we will see:

Adam Davey- It’s the biggest PPV in TNA’s calendar, and I am for one majorly excited about it. Over the last few months, the major noise coming out of TNA has been about the financial troubles in the house that Dixie built. However, if we can just ignore that for a moment and look at the actual card, it’s pretty damn good! Unfortunately, the build-up hasn’t matched the finalised line up.

Owen Davies- Bound For Glory 2013 is here and it is sure to be a slobber knocker! A contract-less AJ Styles fights the leader of the Aces and Eights and World Champion Bully Ray in the Main Event. The Icon, Sting, gives his Main Event Mafia brother Magnus the match of his career to date. The newest member of the TNA hall of fame, Olympic gold medallist Kurt Angle returns to the squared circle to face off against the first EGO hall of fame inductee, Bobby Roode. In a mouth-watering Ultimate X Match, we see Manik put his X-Division Title on the line against Austin Aries, Jeff Hardy, Chris Sabin and Samoa Joe. James Storm and Gunner put their Tag Titles on the line against the preshow match winners, which consists of Bad Influence, Joseph Park and Eric Young, The BroMans, Chavo Guerrero and Hernandez. The Knockouts Championship is also put on the line as ODB faces Gail Kim and Brooke. Although some of these matches have been given very little airtime to help build up the rivalries, I think the card looks strong and it should be a very good PPV. Last year’s Bound For Glory is one of my favourite PPV’s in recent years so if it is anywhere near as good as that, I will be a very happy viewer!

Matthew Roberts- Every year TNA has all its’ matches and feuds build to October and peak at their version of Wrestlemania and this year is no different. A 6 match card (7 if you include the pre-show) with a TNA Hall of Fame induction for Kurt Angle, this year’s edition of Bound for Glory looks set to be a great night of bouts and has a main event with huge storyline implications.

Full predictions here - http://wrestletalk.tv/articles/TNA_Bound_For_Glory_2013_Preview_and_Predictions-_Part_1/ and http://wrestletalk.tv/articles/TNA_Bound_For_Glory_2013_Preview_and_Predictions-_Part_2/

So there you have it, the final image of this PPV could well be Hogan holding up the TNA World Heavyweight Title.

It appears so. I'm starting to question everything. Earlier today I decided I'd be giving Gav less of a hard time too. I'd be grumpy too if I couldn't eat cheese

Now if you can just sort out your homo and Guerrero-phobias, you'll really begin to grow as a person Wink

Anyone know what time BFG actually kicks off tonight UK time, I've got the day off tomorrow so It'd be nice to watch it

Dear God no! Shocked Erm

That would be the last straw. I think I would go to the Dark Side (WWE) if that happened.

That's an absolutely ludicrous suggestion!

There's no way in hell Hogan can perform leg drops anymore. Although it would be cool to see him try it, only for him to break both his hips and sit there in a Vince McMahon at the 2005 Royal Rumble style whilst the referee throws up the X.

Gutted they didn't go with a WM9 remake, was really looking forward to Magnus coming out in a Giant Gonzalez fur onesie (on that note, how ahead of his time was Gonzalez, all the kids are wearing suits like his nowadays!).

If TNA really wanted to take something from Wrestlemania 9 they should have re-enacted the finish to the Doink / Crush match.

"There's TWO Garett Bischoffs!"

That would be money.

Christ, 4 Bellas!

Poor old Jumpin' John Cena would go doolally with 2 Nikki Bellas pestering him to get married, he'd go full Benwah on them both.

Not that it would be a problem for the Nikkis cos he'd be there slapping the No Pressure STF on them screaming "TAP!" and "PROVE ME WRONG!" and they'd be yawning and going "Just what is it you're trying to do?"
