I'm sure you're right Trussy - And I really could do a lot worse, but given our ages (she's a whole day younger) I'd like to see our character progression before any commitment.

At best Rose is European level. Not enough variety in his punches. Very little inside work and nowhere near enough head movement.

Thought Maciel was robbed i had him winning clearly, the BBoC need to get a grip of this dodgy hometown scoring because it is ruining good fights.
Rose will get ruined when he fights for the title he is very average.

I thought it was a one round fight either way, Rose was more accurate but Maciel was landing the big shots but was wild for the most part.

Agreed - one round either way - a long way off a robbery!

After the Burns fight which I actually think could have been a draw at a push there's a trend that any close fight a british fighter wins it's then a robbery.

Ok time for the "not so special one"

It wasn't close overall but on round by round scoring I had it 115-112 to Beltran with I think the 5th being close enough to go either way. Beltran won his rounds big while Burns scraped his, it's one of the fights that for more me indicates boxing scoring needs more flexibility.

Just seen that Brook is 1/8 to take this. Is he that much better than Senchenko?

Senchenko is 5/1.

Joshua will fight between the semis and the final, to give Toney a rest. Thats how it worked before with Yafai and Fielding. The Thursday thing is very odd.

I don't think that Brook should be quite such a favourite, but 5/1 doesn't particularly appeal either.
