Don't see knockouts like that all too often in the amateurs. Couple of decent punches there, to say the least.

That's because they usually wear headgear in the amateurs

The head guards don't your chin, but there's less KOs in the amateur game for a number of reasons; shorter fights, even match making, larger gloves, less bandaging allowed, the style of boxing and so on. There's little evidence that the introduction of head guards reduced the number of knockouts, which is why the rules are being changed and they are no longer going to be used in major tournaments.

The IOC are not impressed. I don't think this will be perminent

Big punches, sure. But... surely anyone half decent should have seen them coming?
