First topic message reminder :

I wondered how things were going , I am pretty jealous as I'm waiting for Friday for my PS4.

The Kinnect apparently works well, how does BF4 feel to have 64 players online. Is Ryse a bit of a disappointment or are you enjoying it.

Dead Rising 3 how are you getting on with it? The videos with hundreds of zombies looked cool.

I read a test on sound levels and I think its quieter than the 360. If you had a PS3 is it quieter than that?

Don't know if everyone's aware but the Xbox 360 games for Games with Gold are also available for Xbox One owners, they've changed the backwards compatibility so you don't have to have owned the game previously (and therefore can buy older titles if you wish) but every month now the AAA 360 games will be able to be downloaded. April gets Dead Space and Saints Row 4, if you're quick you can still get Borderlands for this month.

For the month of April, Xbox Live Gold members will receive four new free games – two on Xbox One and two on Xbox 360 – as part of the Games with Gold program. You can play both Xbox 360 titles on your Xbox One with Backward Compatibility.

On Xbox One, Xbox Live Gold members can download The Wolf Among Us ($24.99 ERP) for free during the month of April. Sunset Overdrive ($29.99 ERP) will be available as a free download from April 16th to May15th.

On Xbox 360, starting Friday, 01 April, Dead Space ($14.99 ERP) will be free for Xbox Live Gold members through April 15th. Then on April 16th, Xbox Live Gold Members can download Saints Row IV ($34.99 ERP) for free through April 30th.

Wolf Among Us was fantastic, my favourite Telltale game by a mile.

On EA, I look forward to NHL games - but you have to be a fan of ice hockey really. Peggle 2 is ace.

FIFA 16 is also now in EA Access for those like me who don't bother buying it anymore.

On the flip side, I'd keep hold of it if I were EA, make people pay while excitement is hot for the release of Episode VII this week.

The idea behind EA Access is largely to pop buy rates for DLCs/FUT packs etc. I'm guessing FIFA will coincide with the Team of the Year cards being released on FUT, therefore they actually make more cash than they would for a product that has a realistic lifespan of 4 months or so.

Same with Battlefront, they'll be aiming to release the base game and sell season passes (probably discounted). Its a pretty good way at getting a one time cash hit when a games on the downswing. Though they may wait until they have 2-3 DLC expansions out first.

But with Battlefront, there's no sequel being released in September - this is it for some time. Unlike FIFA, which has a new iteration every year. There's no imperative to make each month count.

Presumably before it dies on its ass I guess. To be honest, I heard it didn't exactly live up to the standards of the previous games.

A lot of people said that, but for me, it's been the most enjoyable of all the Battlefront games. Never have trouble finding a server, always a challenge, it's fun but enjoyable. I can't complain about any of it.

Games with gold look pretty decent this month

Goat simulator got 8/10 and the crew doesn't look terrible

Also black ops has gone backwards compatible which is cool, really enjoyed the online on that one (by that it means a rare one I was half decent at)

Think I'm gonna wait until after Christmas. Need to decided whether I actually want to keep the xbox or not

I keep convincing myself that me not playing it is a phase and I'll go back on it, but it's been six months now that it's been used as a netflix player. I've bought new games as well but still don't really ever feel like playing. I really wanted COD but I refuse to pay £70 when I only want the MW4 bit and already know that whatever they have in store for the new one will stink

I traded in a bunch of Xbox One games, to pre-order CoD, and have enough in credit to pay for it when its out....this is the last ditch attempt at the XBox One, as its quickly gathering dust!

My PS4 seems to get a lot more use though!
