20 years ago Rangers won 3 in a row.
This year we have won 3 in a row.

20 years ago our manager left and the number 2 stepped up,Greame Souness for Walter Smith.
This year it will be Walter Smith for Ally McCoist.

20 years ago a Rangers striker that used to play for Celtic left the club,Mo Johnston.
This year Kenny Miller left the club.

20 years ago Rangers won the league cup 2-1 in extra time v Celtic.
This year Rangers won the league cup in extra time 2-1 v Celtic.

20 years ago Motherwell won the Scottish Cup.....

20 years ago Celtic were skint and had a board trying to kill the club. Oh wait that was meant to break the trend I'll be back later.

To be fair it is uncanny, Motherwell knocked us out the Cup that year two, Damn Packie Bonner

Just to add how uncanny this is Celtic also knocked Rangers out the Scottish Cup at Parkhead with a 1-0 win and the full back (Anton Rogan) scoring the goal

Last ones definitely wrong, Celtic knocked Rangers out in 04 (1-0) and 05 (2-1) and went on to win the Cup and I'm sure you'll find more but before that the 3 previous times we put Rangers out we didnt win 90, 91 and 97
