"An evening with Roger Federer"

Currently watching this much-hyped charity event (Roger Federer Foundation) live on late night Australian TV (channel 7 for anyone over here who might want to tune in for closing stages ...)

JWT is providing the opposition, and it was Jo who took the opener on a TB, with second going to the Fed 6-3 but now Jo with a break in the decider.

Packed house in Melbourne and some good stuff for them to enjoy.

Federer has been feted like a rock star ever since his arrival downunder   

I'm sorry I didn't see this before posting the new thread with a video.

I was hoping this might be Federer singing some songs and telling some anecdotes in front of an ITV audience comprised of the cast of Coronation Street, the stars of I'm A Celebrity and assorted comedians and singers who were popular about 20 years ago.

Sadly, it's just a tennis match.

In the interests of accuracy, I should add that I got the title wrong.

It was in fact called "Roger Federer & Friends" and the highlight undoubtedly was the warm-up with a certain R.Laver ......

I thought this was some romantic restaurant meal with Federer followed by a night at the Opera then home for a nightcap.
