My JA606 Everton is away to league leaders Arsenal, featuring C.Ronaldo, Aguero and other players bound to tear my side limb from limb.

Which team and style to I adopt, and why?

For Arsenal v Everton;

I'd say if he has Ronaldo and Aguero among others its probably irrelevant.

My thoughts exactly. Hence do I go as normal with the midfield and AM's and lose, or do I go anti-football and try to get a 0-0?

Their league has been going for several real life seasons, I went in and got 2 wins and a draw from first 4 games to keep Everton up, so might as well try something different.

But the big teams like having their squads, and there's a 4 way battle for the title so its still competitive between the big teams. If it becomes uncompetitive then it would be time to reset.

It's a good idea but I've already meticulously planned my 5-4-1 system with strict instructions, two CB's to mark Aguero, two right backs to mark Ronaldo, and a CB and two DM's to keep David Silva and Yaya Toure back. Olly would be proud.

Tbh I'd be surprised if we spent that much this summer. Striker aside we don't need upgrades, just depth. Imagine Pearce will look to use more youth players in that role too, after the success of Darlow and Lascelles, as well as the promising Osborn.

I like your thinking on the ninjas. I went with pirates because ninjas don't have boats and tigers are not as scary when they have to swim.

Forest have potential in abundance, as shown in the period just after Christmas, especially the West Ham cup game.

But it needs a real man manager to bring it all together. Not sure Pearce is that man, but I hope he does well.
