Two very good signings for United, finally focusing on the kind of player they desperately need. Vidal would obviously trump them all.

But £27m for Shaw Shocked For potential! I'd want the finished article for much money.

I know you say it's for up to 12 years of service, but don't forget that it could also be for 4 years and then he leaves for nothing on a Bosman

I hope Evra stays for life, I love him. For a foreign player to show that much passion for a club and to hate our rivals as much as the fans do you can't buy that.

Jack Wilshere won't win nothing, he is a nothing player. Barkley is our future.

Azzy if Costa Rica or Algeria win I'll share the winnings with you x

If Vidal joined wow I'd die. The last time I felt like that was when Juan Seba Veron joined. Even though I preferred Nedved as he was also linked to join us.

Man U fans saying they would rather spend £27-30m on an 18 year old than £25m on a 26 year old. Considering they spend £25m on Robin Van Persie, that's nonsense.

I'd rather have Shaw over Lallana, one is going to turn out to become the best fullback in the world while the other will have another year or two of good performances before he fizzles out.

RVP won United the league you can't compare Lallana to an established International for Netherlands who has played in England and Holland and was one of the top scorers ever for the National side.

I'd pay 40m for Vidal and he is 27

I'm here.

Brazil V Holland Germany/France v Argentina

That's most likely the semis so who's going to win the WC?

Brazil V Argentina will be a great final, Neymar scores a brace Messi scores a hatrick the third goal coming in the 93rd minute of the match taking on 5 Brazil players behind the halfway line. Wins Balon D'Or and the comparision to Maradona stops as the whole world finally recognises Messi as the greatest player ever. (I personally think he already is the greatest)

Messi has done frak all internationally, and he's played in an easy league in Spain. The only stage where he's performed properly is the CL, and even then, he did diddly squat in two games against Celtic. He's nowhere near the top 5 of best ever players.

Talent-wise, yes. Achievement-wise, he'll never be there.

He's not won anything at International level but you can't say he has done nothing. That's the only thing you can say about him but no player is good enough to win in his own.

If you're saying the Spanish league is so easy why have they dominated international football and European football? Funny how you say that didn't Ronaldo play in Holland most easier league to score in.

Two games against Celtic lool so you'll ignore the goals he scored in the final or against Madrid or even Bayern. Ronaldo isn't even in the top 50 champions League scorers how dare you have a go at Messi for not scoring against Celtic.

AAchievement wise he won't match them? 6 LA Liga titles 3 del Copa 3 champions leagues 4 balon dors come on Azzy.

Messi has achieved nothing at international level. No Copa America wins. No World Cups. No trophies of any sort. Lots of goals, but then again, Miroslav Klose has 70 goals. Milan Baros has 41. So Messi has marginally more goals than Milan Baros. That's some achievement.

The Spanish league is a much easier domestic league than the Premier League, Bundesliga and Serie A. Until this season there has only been two big teams, loaded with superstars. Messi has had the likes of Xavi and Iniesta to feed him goals, goals against poor teams. Don't argue the La Liga point, you and everyone else here knows it's a much weaker league than its contemporaries.

The Celtic point was tongue in cheek, you are some Messi lover if you can't see that. That goal he scored for Barca against United, where he rose like a salmon, was one of the greatest goals I've ever seen. Absolutely stunning.

6 La Liga titles is the equivalent of 2 PL titles for me. It doesn't take much skill. Sergio Busquets has won plenty of them and he's pants. 3 pointless Spanish cups, 3 CL titles - those CL titles are the only thing on his CV that make him great.

Balloon Doors are fixed, as we all know. Scholes would have won several without the fixing. It's used by the authorities to promote football as a brand. Scholes never fit that requirement.

Until Messi actually does something, like lead his team to a WC final / title, he's always going to register as a failure for me. It's why Johan Cruyff falls short of Maradona and Pele, he doesn't have the hardware to go with his ability. Same with Messi. Currently.

Good luck Nando.

TBH the manager's impact is very little at this point IMO. With short tactics, there's a real limit to what you can do on that side, so it comes down to players and squads, and we haven't had enough TPs to be able to make a big difference.

I'm trusting neither of us will change them now so, what formation did you go with? I felt like trying something different and my two star wingers were crocked, so went with an attacking 3-4-1-2 Euro Division Homepage LXXV - Page 3 3559488474

I agree, not a lot we can do with the sides, but in a couple of weeks it will be interesting to see which managers have built the strongest sides in the league. There'll be some great games then.
