The Open Competition - Final Leaderboard

TexasWedge had led since the second round courtesy of Rory McIlroy, Sergio Garcia and Rickie Fowler and like McIlroy never looked likely to be caught. To further confirm his superiority he had Adam Scott and Shane Lowry amongst his selections from today's movers up the leaderboard.

McLaren and Bobby4320, looking for back-to-back competions wins, came joint second three shots back from TexasWedge. Alsie, IrnBroon, liverbnz and sand who all have Fowler and Garcia but not McIlroy all moved up on the Sunday to join JAS in fourth. TexasWedge won with the lowest total scored in these competitions so far.

If you told me that I would have -26 at the end I would have taken that but it was only good for tied 36th. It was a low scoring major.

It seems the novelty pick of Lowry is no longer, at least this time the joke I originally intended it to be.

Woohoo! My first major. Do I get to go to Bermuda or Hawaii or wherever for the Grand Slam now??
I'm normally near the bottom in these things so about time I did well. I'd also backed McIlroy and Fowler (amongst others) so a good week all round.
