R2D Too..
First topic message reminder :
Congratulations to Rory McIlroy on winning the R2D again.
Anyone else feel it was a bit anticlimactic that he won this weekend without competing? So unlike Stenson's efforts and drama last year.
Is an in-form McIlroy just too strong for the rest of the European field? Do the majors have too big an impact on the points?

Re: R2D Too..
Chelsea,
I believe you that there are some science students at university with atrocious spelling and grammar. Everyone makes typos from time to time, and some grammatical points can be tricky, but there is no excuse for basic errors as Kwini and Super have pointed out. It's on a par with writing 5 +5 = 9.
I will also say that Mac is frequently unintelligible, although that is perhaps not so much down to poor spelling but more due to a lack of a coherent argument!

Re: R2D Too..
Mac,
Money rules all on the European Tour as far as exemptions for next year are concerned" What is it? Top 110 on the money-list?
For the PGA Tour:
Top 125 in FedEx points qualify for Round 1 (The Barclays) of the FedEx Play-Offs and earn full Exemption for the following season: Exemption Category #19 if players do not have higher status.
The Top 125 in the Official Money List earn their cards for the following season even if not in the Top 125 in FedEx points, Exemption Category #20. The four golfers to qualify this year were Mike Weir, Beljan, Renner and N.Thompson.
I think that covers it.
Hope that's a coherent response.

PS maths is way more important than spelling and grammar.
Not if you're trying to communicate to someone. I actually agree that maths is very important - more so than many believe .. but it doesn't help social intercourse. But then Mac isn't very good at that anyway
