Joey Barton On Twitter!

It's just been reported that Joey Barton has opened a Twitter account...and a can of worms by whats been reported!

Created a Twitter account a few days ago, started off funny by chatting with Piers Morgan. Just saw that today it's turned a bit more sour this afternoon by talking about the men in charge of the club and his contract. Not his smartest move.

LOL he was on there the other day saying i gotta be careful or something because NUFC are my employers and this and that, yeah Joey so zip it. I personally aint bothered if he goes, Nolan's better anyway and we stuck by him in jail he could of by agreeing a contract. Tiote, Nolan, Ben Arfa, Cabaye, all just as good, in Tiote, Nolan's case, better.

Barton has well and truly redeemed himself.

Barton is a complete muppet. Childish arguement in the public domain, anybody with half a brain would realise this sort of thing is just pathetically attention seeking rubbish. Mind you, Barton does believe he's agood footballer so who knows what he really thinks.

I think you have to be an idiot to follow anybody whatsoever on twitter myself. The problem now is that whenever anything controversial is 'tweeted' it's tabloid news within 24 hours so it's pretty unavoidable unless you reside in a cave somewhere.

This particular story was even reported on my local radio station's news this morning. I live in Oxfordshire...

I've no idea where Barton stands on followers numbers but I'd guess he's pretty high up the list given the amount of media attention he seems to be getting which for him means job done.

Barton is unquestionably a strange piece of work but he's a better footballer than he's given credit for. But mud sticks..

I totally agree, twitter is basically online stalking, but this paticular story takes the biscuit for me, Joey Barton calling somebody else a nobody??

Pretty funny, Barton is a muppet but to be fair he picked the correct people to insult, those "TOWIE" lot are just morons...
