Hoping brook wins between rounds 4 and 9 - got money on a stoppage in each...
Just been having a look through the heavyweight rankings - who is Charles Martin? IBF have him at 4?

It really isn't that simple when the division is so poor, there is no real opposition aside from Wlad, Stiverne, Wilder and Povetkin.

Joshua is a one man gang, I think he will destroy all the current heavyweights within the next year.

Paulie is a really good commentator.
Great insight and explanation of technical details.

Re: Tonight's Action
Yeah Milky I thought this would either be a blowout or a striker, the card itself has been fantastic so far, if Hearn had got his way the main event would have been Brook Khan and I think it would rival any card in Britain ever

Yes, mismatch makes you look class. An obvious outcome, this is a nothing fight

Gavin is just good enough to hang around and make it messy without being good enough or strong enough to ever threaten to win it.

Re: Tonight's Action
Gavins amateur pedigree and skills can make him last but as alluded too he just doesnt have the pop in his shots to beat Brook
Think brook would be worth his time hitting to the body which is where bundu hurt gavin, could slow him down enough for him to land a clean head shot

Re: Tonight's Action
Well this has put a downer on what's been a very good and enjoyable card. Going whack a film on and finish me beers. How's this is a world title fight is beyond me.
I understand Bundu getting a shot as he beat Gavin and was European champ.
Gavin gets a shot because.....well....he was amateur word champion and was around to make up the numbers....I think.
Enjoy.

Gavin trying a little more this round, but come on... You're fighting in front of 20,000, on a massive PPV show that is being shown globally, he doesn't look like he's trying to win, just survive

Mrs truss has come to the same conclusion... Proved herself more knowledgeable on boxing than her husband... And now off to bed... With a young barnan she met earlier.

Thank the Lord for that. Expected little else from Gavin, but have a go, the result will be the same, but try and earn yourself some work in the future

The division isn't great but there's much better opposition out there than the bums Joshua has beat. If the top 50 guys aren't good enough put him in with top 30's.
It's quite convenient for Hearn to carry on like this.

Re: Tonight's Action
Yea if he gets to 140 he could, could, just have a future but i cant see him getting there at this point in his career. Hes a tall giy but very slender, has barely any muscle mass and his shots just bounced off the stockier stronger brook.

Gavin is hard to look good against, but Brook done well to put him away thought it was gonna be a painful 12 rounds

Re: Tonight's Action
Pianeta vs Chagaev winner could be a decent step, both lost to wlad and an extra loss from chagaev to adamek, they should at least take joshua a few rounds surely
