Ben Stokes
Only 19 years old but is hitting runs for fun in the County Championship. Not a half bad bowler either taking a 5 wicket haul a few matches back.
Since the under 19 World cup he's been progressing into a true all-rounder and I can see him playing in Englands T20 or One day side in a few years time.
How do you the rest of his season going ? And When do you think think he'll get into the England squad?

Re: Ben Stokes
I see him and Chris Woakes competing for a place in the side. Stokes would come in and bat 6, with Prior 7 when England are looking for more runs and Woakes coming in and batting 7 (Prior 6) when England are looking to play 5 more orthodox bowlers.
I am still not entirely convinced by Woakes yet, but I do think that Ben Stokes will play Test cricket for England. He just needs to find a tiny bit more consistency.

I believe that the England team is run like an old boys club whereby you have to know the people inside the club or the club's management in order to get a chance of being included.

Well the way that guys like Cook, Collingwood get chance after chance without looking like getting dropped says it all. Also the shambolic way that the selectors/or management treated guys like Owais Shah,Joe Denly where they were dropped once they had failed just once seems to me that there are double standards at work in the selection of the England team.
By the way Hoggy Bear, great to hear that you are on this new exciting forum.
