1) Yes and no, the problem being no one really wants to lose to a guy who isnt more than a joke figure.

3) I do think the joke will wear thin. My vision of him would be a homophobic feud against Molly n Percy.

Have we ever had a comedic champion? Was Hobo ever a world champion? His character always seemed comedic.

Max Adamson was originally a comedy character but it wasn't until he became more serious that the rewards came. Maybe there's something in that?

Always a place for comedy characters, easily the hardest genre to write for in e-fedding and be consistently successful.

A comedy character can make it to the top if there's more strings to his bow. Someone developing from a comedy character to a major player yes. Percy Percival is purely comedy, even if I promoed my balls off week in week out with Percy he wouldn't ever be World Champion without the character developing further into something more serious.

Brandon Perez so far hasn't really struck a chord with me, not a dig by any means but he doesn't really grab my attention. I think if Viper wanted some advice on promoing as Brandon I'd say he needs to stop writing in the exact same style as Liam Wood, it looks like every other promo but without the serious content. There's a reason I changed the font colour in Percy's promos, to make them stand out as a Percy promo. Make Brandon's promos stand out, make them unique and eye catching in layout and colour, not just by centering everything.

Really good reply Marky, and all of it made sense...I get what you mean about making it stand out when I promo as Perez.

Oh yeah, I know that, I think what I'm saying goes along with everyone else really, comedy characters need to progress to serious. Perez turning serious and against the "abomination" of a man choosing to sleep with another man when there are so many beautiful ladies around...just an angle to move him into serious whilst still portraying some remnants of the original character.

In the same way that I think Percy and Molly could absolutely run the tag division with a sudden brutal tone shift.

and Dolph, I get what you mean re: turning serious but I hope that's a long way away for Perez and I like having a comedic outlet where I can just be funny (to me anyway ). There's potential for him to go heel, I wish GazzyD wasn't gone because I love the idea of Perez turning super stalker over Christy as I intend for Brandon to be slightly in love with her as she's the one woman he can't have.

Reply up for Dicey, I got Wood to exit though as I'm going to be super busy as even all my free time is being taken up by stuff until the next show.

Morning Dicey, not the best start for Spurs this weekend.

Lil reminder to those I sent look back emails too. No great rush but if I could have them back by the 19th to give me enough time to put it all together. Everyone that I sent them too originally has opened it so no excuses

It was worse for The Gooners so im happy lol, it was a poor match and both teams looked bad but unfortunately for us we scored an og and that was the difference, we need more attacking options and had by far the better chances to score especially in the first 20 minutes but onwards and upwards, another tough match against Stoke this week but no match is easy in the PL

No I agree. I am surprised Lego Man hasn't gone for a striker. A lot of responsibility on Kane's shoulders.

I don't think its the fact that he hasn't looked for another striker its the fact that there really isn't a lot out there and we will probably end up with Charlie Austin

Loved how the media raved about the Cech signing and then he made a hash of both West Ham goals. They kept on saying he would save around 15 points for the Gunners. Ended up costing them 3 already!

Looking above at the Perez Qotd........I think he has a place in the fed for sure, but I don't seem him reaching the heights as a comedy routine. It is too hard too, and Adamson is a prime example of what happens when you become serious. I think Bam might have reached a fair height but only if he became more dark with his stalker routine.

I am waiting for the next monster heel character. With Plague, Takeo and Ojore gone (and Orthus not coming back according to Nando), Joshua has the monopoly on the height factor.

a) Well I have only been involved with one storyline since returning but I have enjoyed it both when I was part of the tag team as well as the turn by PJ on Dicey, I cant see it lasting much longer but it has been fun

b) I was enjoying the Gazzy run and fight with Joshua and was sad to see Gazzy go tbh

I still haven't bought into The Forgotten storyline, I think with them not being revealed yet has hampered them due to the lack of promo's for the shows plus with them not taking any titles yet but instead just aligning themselves with Joshua makes them look weak in my eyes plus I still don't know how many of them there is, 3,4 or 10

A) I really enjoyed the "Let them fight" storyline Joshua had with Plague, Takeo and Ojore. It really elevated the match. In the end it became more than a fight for the Xtreme title but rather 4 men wanting to beat the Poopie out of each other.
B) I really enjoyed Wood v Costello and how Costello used Emmy in his mind games. Elevated them both in my opinion.

I didn't really enjoy the first "reveal" of who ran over Nate (brain freeze.....was it Jackson Black?). I think it would have been much better if that had been dropped. If you wanted to keep the story relevent I would have segments where Emma is trying to piece things together and showing Nate in hospital. Just to keep the storyline ticking along but having it in the background until the point we have reached where a reveal seems imminent.

It was really Emma's opinion at that stage purely based on her own guilt for cheating on Nate - There was little to no evidence to base her accusation on. In honesty she has been clutching at straws through most of it, only now does she have a little bit of evidence to point her towards a culprit but even that isn't enough to warrant police interest.

She thinks she knows now but does she really....

Yeah sorry, Tyler Roth. If the evidence isn't enough to warrant a police investigation, then that CCTV footage or whatever she has can't be that damning. Which might lead to this storyline going on for a while yet then.

I agree with what Dicey says about the Forgotten. I have it as 5 at the moment, Philips, Waka, Shad, Rousimoff and "the reaper". The Yakuza names threw me slightly as that got us thinking it was new characters. The storyline is ace though, I think the Philips reveal has made stuff a lot clearer. We are just debating who the others are now.

A) during EWF I loved the last month or two with the power battle and it ending with Wood finally getting the world title, it also sparked the merge so it was great. In 6CW I've enjoyed Plague in the COH and nearly everything with Costello.

B) I've enjoyed Joshua's build since his reveal, the Forgotten is a cool storyline and I loved the Scott Harris stuff. Also can't forget Gazzy v Max...brilliant feud from start to finish and its kicked off Max's apparent face turn.

I have to say I loved Plague and the idea of the Brotherhood but it just didn't connect as well as I should have. I think it was hard as nobody would really want their guy to be a follower.

I could see Lex, Masters and (heel) Adamson in the same stable. At various stages of their careers but each having more or less the same mentality. I would call them Innovation.

Then Harris and Wood lead by Dicey. They would be listening to the old head as they get out of the depths of dispair. Basically Dicey becomes like DDP was to Jake the Snake and Scott Hall It could also work if you replace Dicey with Grace. I would call the stable The Redeemers.
