The Viper Liam Wood Viper10

Name: Liam Wood
Nicknames: The Viper / The Best In The Business
Home Town: Hereford, UK
Height: 6ft 2in
Weight: 235lb
Date of Birth: 20/05/1988
Pic base: Tommy End

Class: Tweener
Wrestling Type: Powerful all rounder ala Cesaro with more high flying moves when needed

Appearance: White British, Athletic/muscular build. Liam is covered in tattoos with full sleeves on both arms, his legs both covered, his stomach, chest, shoulders, hands, knuckles and both sides of his neck all with colourful neotraditional tattoos. His one sleeve tattoo has been blacked out, covering a lot of his old tattoos with a blast over. Wood previously had a straight edge tattoo but his has now been covered alluding to him no longer being part of the life style.

Attire: Black boots with kick pads and black trunks with a sigil on the back. Usually enters the ring wearing a sleeveless denim jacket with a Viper logo on the back. Will sometimes come out in tribute attire such as his Macho Man Tribute against Thunder at EWF Scars & Stripes. When not wrestling will wear t-shirts of fellow wrestlers, SOA style biker cuts and skinny jeans.

Personality: Confident in his ability when a face, arrogant beyond belief when a heel. Wood has become famous for letting his mouth get him in to situations you wouldn't wish on your worst enemies...luckily his fists can usually find a solution to most problems. Liam can let his emotions get the best of him causing him to push people away.

Strengths: Loyal to allies (if betrayed will hold a grudge), mentally strong with a never give up attitude and determined to win (sometimes will get his hands dirty if needed). While training with the UFC Liam became a versatile wrestler, gaining a good knowledge of grapple and submission techniques, as well as improving his overall speed, endurance and agility.
Weaknesses: When feeling cocky Liam can let his mouth get him in to trouble, this includes with fellow wrestlers and authority figures, if pushed too far he can let his anger control him, causing him to become more violent and reckless than normal but also meaning he makes mistakes.
Motivations: To prove to the world he is the best. To prove his story isn't over.

Entrance Music: Revival Mode by Every Time I Die (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AEp-Owhqbr0)
(29th September 2015 - Present)

Example of Entrance: The lights go out as Revival Mode by Every Time I Die blasts from the speakers, suddenly a single spotlight appears on the stage revealing Liam Wood stood there wearing a biker style cut with a Viper logo on the back. Wood remains under the atmospheric blue light continuing to stand on the stage soaking in the reaction from the fans, good and bad. Wood then swaggers to the ring as the spotlight follows his every footstep, Wood ignores the fans but clearly enjoys their need to get his attention. Wood reaches the ring and rolls in under the bottom rope before standing in the middle of the ring. After another pause with Wood either staring at his opponent and trash talking them or at the stage the lights lift returning to normal.

* The World Eater:
Wood launches his opponent in to the ropes and upon their return he throws them up in to the air, as they fall back down he lands a knee in to their face (a mixture of the Very European Uppercut and the Go To Sleep) He can also catch people off guard with this when they jump off the turnbuckle or down to the outside in a sort of desperation move.

* Psycho Crusher:
A diving footstomp from the top rope/a running move to standing opponents. When trying to hurt an opponent Wood will hit the Death Stomp to parts of the body such as the arms or legs.

----------------------------------------------------------------

Before EWF/6CW merger
As a kid Liam became obsessed with wrestling, guys like Macho Man Randy Savage, Stone Cold and Sting made him realise what he wanted to do when he got older, during his early teens he created Extreme Garden Wrestling and what started out as a small backyard wrestling federation became a fully fledged federation bringing in numbers that local promotions would be proud of, when this was ultimately shut down Liam gave up on his dreams until he found the english promotion UK Fight Club...Liam signed up, soon becoming one half of the tag champion's before taking the World Title.

It was during his time at UKFC where he won the Best In The Business tournament winning himself a spot on a newly founded company in the US. Shortly after the tournament win Liam received a call from Daniel Magnuson who confirmed his place on an all star roster...this lead to EWF, along with his girlfriend and media manager Emmy he traveled to Santa Monica to start a new life in his new federation.

During his time at EWF he linked up with long time friend Thunder to put on the M.O.T.Y, became the co-captain of Team EWF and was not only the first man to hold gold but became the first ever double champion...holding both the Television and World Heavyweight Championship at the same time, he holds the record for holding the TV Title for the companies entire history and being the last EWF World Champion before the merger or EWF and 6CW.

July 2013 the world of the EWF was rocked when it became part of 6CW meaning that the company would be relocating to London, UK...the Wood was coming home...and ready to prove himself all over again.
