Afternoon, how are we? Anyone lunching on anything out of this world?

Project delivers in just over 2 weeks so hopefully after that some kind of normality will return - I'd pencilled in today for segment writing but only managed half of what I wanted to do

I've never understood why Subway don't put butter on, it'd improve them no end

I've been thinking about Nays QOTD, but Cassius wouldn't have any guests. He couldn't think of anything worse!

I think Marsh might get a begrudging invite, there's clearly an association of some sort there, be it trust, respect or friendship. Or maybe an old enemy is more easily trusted when the rest of the foes are new.

I quite like how Cassius and Murdoch's relationship has been written actually. It's believable. The way Marshall has built it into his promos has been excellent too - funny but storytelling too.

How's things Dolph?

Just watched that new Gervais film on Netflix, was quite enjoyable. A return to form, but I'm not sure Brent will work without Merchant writing so I expect form to nosedive. 

How's your wild Friday?

I've only done bits and bobs for it so can't take credit, I leave anything with history to Paul. Although I think I've been booking their matches lately. I certainly think it's helped both characters be subtly introduced to the show. It's definitely much harder in the short term to write in returning characters when you don't give them a massive storyline changing return. I do think this way has more long term benefit though.

Is that the Special Correspondents one? I'd like to see that.

My wild Friday is I've just written a segment, now I'm going to watch some What Culture wrestling videos and have a milkshake. There is literally no holding me back when I get crazy on a Friday night! I've even just put the heater on for an hour. Mad!

This is the type of "comeback" I wanted. Because essentially it's not a comeback. It's an introduction to 6CW. I didnt know many of the characters, history or storylines so I couldn't have come in and done myself justice any other way. I need to learn it. Also, as I think was mentioned on the podcast, just like you guys I was questioning my own staying power when I decided to join because I genuinely didn't know if I could still do this - last time out in 6WF I couldn't promo, I'd sit there for hours and struggle and come up with nothing, and I had been given the best subject matter to work with - an awesome angle I just couldn't live up to.

So a low(ish) key, integration into this fed was perfect. I am really enjoying it

Gives you chance to ease yourself in. Yourself and Marsh are quality new arrivals and you have both proved it with your promos.

A fed with a bit of Zhi in is always better off.

I got an idea for a QotD, for tonight and tomorrow. You state a match and the next poster posts the situation leading up to it and why match was made. That same poster ends with a new match and the following poster does the same.

As it's me and you Zhi at moment I will go for......

Cassius Zhi v Anthony Grace. GO!

Ok this is rubbish, messy, thrown together and leaves more loose ends than an explosion in a loom band factory, but I wanted to take on the challenge.

Cassius and Marshall give Dicey a kick-in on Monday, leaving him in a really bad way, proving their worth as handymen for Jones
In the main event Jones attempts to make the assist for Adamson because he sees him as the most marketable man in 6CW. Adamson refuses to win that way and Joshua rallies back to defend the title.
Jones is left without Adamson or Joshua and goes into hiding for a few weeks
Cassius and Adamson progress to the TV Title final.
Jones returns and orders Marshall to interfere in the final and makes it no DQ, ironically turning it into an XTreme match. Cassius and Marshall destroy Adamson until Grace makes the save, voiding the match and making Jones look bad because he replaced the non-finish XTreme title with a non-finishing TV Title tournament
Grace and Cassius end up brawling throughout the arena
Jones makes a Fatal 4 Way for the TV Title in the hope that Adamson and Grace fall out during the match.
Grace pins Cassius to win the title.
Cassius and Grace get booked in a 1 on 1 title match at the next PPV

Your go : Joshua vs Cameron Faith

It wasn't that bad!

Okay, Faith v Joshua......

Cameron Faith continues to have problems with 6CW not recognising his talent. They continue to get things wrong with his entrance, even an announcer getting his name wrong and calling him Cameron Filth. This name sticks when Faith calls Pauline Hayden out in the ring and goes on a foul mouth tirade against her before firing her.

Cameron then says he has lost all Faith in 6CW and if Filth is what they want then Filth is what they get. He then unstraps the UK title and urinates all over it.

Filth does more and more outlandish things, like trying to snog a female fan in his entrance, wrestling a match with a kilt and no more, and calling Grey a lady of loose morals live on TV. The crowd actually start warming to Filth and his outlandish antics.

Things come to a head when Jones catches him taking a dump on his office desk. He vows to make am example of him and announces Xtreme will make a one time reappearance with Joshua v Cameron Filth in a non title match. During the match, Adamson interferes and Filth beats Joshua. He then demands rematch for the belt and the feud starts there.

I love the idea of Cameron Filth

OK......Engel v Perez. GO!

So I'd start it after Night Of Glory...on the way to Night Of Glory I'd have Perez feud with Jack Hurst over Kelsey a bit like he feuded with Lex Hart over Miss Jessica. Perez would once again have his win taken away by Kelsey to reflect the way he lost against Lex with Jessica.

As for Engel I'd have Engel make his way to the TV Tournament final, he'd still be corporate Engel the whole way and finally gain the backing of Jones...the final would end up being Engel v Cerberus...the show before Cerberus would win a beat the clock match faster than Engel and get to pick the stipulation...he'd be an Xtreme Rules match, much to the dismay of Engel and Jones...the match would end with Cerberus picking up the win after Engel refuses to use weapons and finally is taken out by Cerberus who uses all the weapons to his advantage...the match ends and Engel finally snaps...the crazy Engel is back...he goes on a rampage backstage and takes out a superstar scheduled to leave.

Now we book the two together:

Engel would come out on the next show and start targeting Perez, he'd say that Perez was an addict and he could cure him, he had just the place...two masked men then attack Perez and they drag him away...a week before the next show a video of Perez tied up at Cherry Falls would be posted as a BHC and then the next match you'd have Engel, and three masked men attack Cerberus, the third masked man would be revealed as Perez as part of Engel's Asylum.

Other the next few shows Engel would help Perez win matches but the old Perez would end up coming out during a match causing Engel to attack him costing him a number one contenders match for the UK Title...Engel would then give Perez a chance to apologise and fall back in line but Perez would slap him and the two would brawl until being split up.

Then at a PPV Engel would face Perez in another Xtreme Rules match...I'd have Engel win but Perez would take it seriously allowing him to become serious, Engel would leave Perez half dead in the ring before Perez pulls himself up, the fans getting behind him making him see that he can do anything if he puts his mind to it (despite the loss)

Oh and:

Max Adamson v Dicey Reilly

Just man flu Zhi.

Not bad Viper. I reckon Dicey would jump at the chance to feud with Adamson. Waiting for Nays reaction to Cameron Filth!

I've been doing more cardio and looking to have days where I run long distances on the treadmill...

How did you build up to it or have you always been good with running?
I currently do a quick 2k run to start my work outs and then one at the end as well.
