Having 24 teams devalues the tournament in the group stages, too many teams not deserving of playing in a major tournament.

In fairness, Wales are better than a few of the teams that make World Cups. Always liked that the Euros was smaller though, less fluff

Pretty dull half to be honest. Neither side have really threatened bar the odd occasion.

Wales are sitting really deep, but they aren't getting any support to Bale as a result.

Slovakia can't break them down.

Oh well, F1 in 15 minutes.

The Welsh are linking up quite well in attack, though Bale is rather isolated and there's one or two ostentatious touches which aren't helping.

They might need a second, but they should be good for the win.

Wales probably worthy winners in the end. They weren't quite as brilliant as Savage would have you believe but they had a gameplan and it paid off in the end.
