The second a new league is mentioned everyone loses interest, it's pointless having a new league if that is whats going to happen each time.

I would quite happily end it but not everyone wants to, the only thing I don't want is for people to leave because they are annoyed it has ended early that's all...

Lets finish this week with no injuries and everyone can play their best side, seeing as it'll take a week to get everything going anyway with the new one

If you guys can give me a few days to write up my plan for the new league then I will post it and we will discuss then that's fine is that OK with you lot?

So what happens in the 6th week of the new league when there's talk of a new league? Do we restart again?

I didn't see this setup having more than 3 seasons as a maximum anyway due to the way we started which was fine.

I reckon Azzy planted a bit of his soul in Viva when he gave him his Euro teams for free

Well I've just spoken to Azzy and he said he will never join a league where you change rules midway and to be honest I agree with him and Nick said he let him know closer to the date.

So we're not having injuries?

No, the league has finished once week 8 is complete.

I'm not having my Championship league win voided, I was romping it on Bam levels.

It won't be, whatever the final table is after results from week 8 will be the final table.

Championship results are in guys.

That's because people were stupid enough to mention a new league.

Also it's like a school for ADD kids here. Can't pay attention to a league long enough without rebooting. That's why I was so against joining the last one.

I would not be at all happy if I'd stayed and that decision was taken.

To be fair though, the league we are just finishing now was good but we started with teams that we built already so longevity was potentially going to be an issue and Ronaldo is in the league now as well.

Whether people still want to finish is a separate point, but there isn't much point to a season 3 given some teams at this stage.

It is like Marky said though the case as it's always been that as soon as anyone mentions a new league then the current league is at that point doomed. Sure when you initially mooted the idea to me I said that'd be the case

I do think that mentioning a new league will inevitably mean the end of the current one, but I also think this one was unsustainable given the quality of players in it

Better to reboot and look to do a long term thing from the start rather than try and drag this out with super teams creaming the rest

Maybe a 3rd season was too much but we should have completed this one.

This season has got to be finished imo. Scrap injuries and lawyers if you really want (personally i would stick to the rules). It's two weeks, not two months.

As I think I mentioned before, there's no way we can have a season three because there's hardly anyone left to sign. I'd say finish this league then target a five season league next, lasting about a calendar year.

I would have been in favour of finishing too with no injuries, but with no agreement may as well draw a line

If it's a premier league/championship divide it could be worth finishing Prem but not championship? We'll see what the league tables look like first?

I'd like to see real depth with the new league, to the levels of weather conditions, size of pitch, temperature, youth squads, wages, sponsorship, scouts, stuff that makes people take real ownership of their teams and therefore have more investment in the longevity of the league.

If it means I'm not going to get shot for ending the league earlier then we will do it all your ways and finish the 2 weeks.

I apologise if it's annoyed anyone but I was told to make a decision and as always it's shot down. 

We will finish the 2 weeks and that's final, I realise I am changing my mind again but it's whatever when it appears to be the majority who want it to carry on. 

If I am doing this then everyone who hasn't confirmed they are in for the next league can you go and do that please in return..?

I think it's mainly for the Premier League being that it's so tight at the top and those in contention are wanting a proper conclusion. Don;t think it's needed in the Championship as much.
