I've been thinking about some of the great games that I've seen live on TV in my 4 years of watching NFL and have got a list of a good few.

I agree with the arizona/packers game.

Out of interest, do you guys have any idea where you can watch old nfl games , or just any full nfl games for that matter. Going on holiday and I will suffer a lot of travel so i thought watching some old games would be fun, especially as france wont have english tv

I haven't seen many but Falcons V Bucs in December last year was brilliant. Pity about the loss.(It's number 5 of top 20 games on NFL.com for those interested.)

You can download some from torrent websites, particularly www.kickasstorrents.com

I've got a few Bengals games from 09 because of my brother, Packers @ Steelers in 09 and the last 4 Super Bowls including pre-game and half time shows all burned on to DVDs.

Just type in random matches you want and if it's a big game somebody would have uploaded it.

one of my favourites has to be the Buffalo Bills v Houston Oilers, iirc a play-off came from a good few years back

M to M - when you said 'live' I thought you meant games actually attended.
I was fortunate enough to be at the Giants v Eagles game at old Meadowlands 18 months ago, the SNF game that everyone lost count of the score that ended up something like 45-38.

As for TV games there have been so many, every years there are a dozen or more truly great games so over the years there are way too many to remember.

Of recent seaons the Packers/Cards wild card game 2 years ago was special, as was the superbowl that year, but my vote would probably go one of the Pats/Colts shootouts of recent years, especially the game with the infamous 4th and 2 attempt from Belicheat

Live, I saw the Chargers beat the Colts a couple of years back in San Diego. Adam Vinatieri missed a simple game winning Field Goal in the last few Seconds and Manning threw a whole host of picks.

Superbowl XLV (Best Day of my life....followed the Packers for 25 years so that was epic and moved my in person Packer record to 3-4 ending a 4 game losing streak for me)
Pats 27 Ravens 24 during the 16-0 season (50 mph freezing cold Wind but great game!)
Saints over Chargers at Wembley
Texas A&M 9 Nebraska 6 (92,000 nut jobs and great D struggle!)
