Just PMd you the fixtures. Can you stick them up on the fixtures page please.

Can everyone just double check I haven't made any glaring mistakes. I have checked that everyone features home and away 9 times each, and that everyone votes the same number of times (27 games over the 18 weeks). I also checked that no one was voting on their own game.

What I couldn't easily check was that everyone was only playing once each week and also that everyone played everyone else twice (once at home and once away). it should be the case as I used a fixture generator, but worth double checking please

I've tried posting them up but the formatting doesn't paste in correctly and it messes up, could you send me the raw document at all?

And will there be lawyers offers this Tuesday?

Surely releases and lawyers have to be later than the foreign transfer market opening?

That's why I was asking tbf.

As far as I'm aware lawyers were certainly going to be after the window opening, not as sure of releases.

We are going to do this...

Foreigns open 9am Monday
Releases open 9am Tuesday
Lawyers will be announced on Wednesday

You're never going to please everyone with timings.
I'm not going to be around at all Monday morning - which is why I was insisting for the first week or two it should be some kind of bidding war. We're all going to be after the same few players.

Go after another target and then do deals in the league mate?

I've got a target in mind for Monday, if i don't get the target cos someone else goes for them, i will either try and do deals for him or just go after another target, there is plenty of quality in the TM market.

I haven't a clue on my target as of yet though I suspect there's 3 or 4 people wanting 1 player.

There's loads of players out there. The majority of players who get bought in the first few weeks won't be as important to their teams in 10 weeks time, so if it is bidding wars I think I'll sit back and wait for the initial rush to be over.

I have a player I want and I know others will too. He is critical to my system.
If it was a bidding war I'd happily pay twice their value to get them.

We aren't having bidding wars mate.

I've set the rules as they are with Hero and we are sticking to it, i apologise if you can't get on until half 9 or whatever the case is but you may end up benefiting from it, who knows.

I'll bet you anything the player I want is gone by the time my shift on the production line ends.

I think of my 5 targets, 4 should be straight forward

I reckon there are 3 players under £20m that are worth a lot more, in terms of ability, than their current TM value.

One will take up a huge chunk of your budget, so not worth doing if you want a competitive squad.
One is decent, but isn't such a superstar that you couldn't get an alternative easily
And one is injured and there's no guarantee he will play when is back, nor will he be the same player given the nature of the injuury

I am happy doing mine when I get in from work Monday. I might not even do any until after the first game. Feedback hopefully will tell me where i need to improve.

I can't speak for the others who were involved in setting it up but all i ask is that people stick to deadlines and i'll be happy.

Seeing as everyone is going to be wanting the same few players to start with, why not do an auction

Miky/whoever names a player up for auction

Everyone who wants to sign that player sends in a blind bid for that player to a neutral party

Highest bid wins

Fairest system for those who are going to be in such high demand and doesn't prevent anyone who might actually have to work on Monday morning from being able to compete for these players

Appreciate the ideas but i've said from the start i don't want any bidding/auction, sorry.

We are sticking with the original plan.
