We have learned that tonight's "Proving Grounds" will serve more as a "Go Home" show then next week's offering. We are told that next week's "show" will include 1-2 matches but will mainly focus around re-capping all feuds heading into "Night of Glory IX" as well as a special "Hall of fame" presentation for the "Class of 2024".

Given that the Jerome Dubois vs Cobra match is now taking place on April 27th it is safe to assume this match has been bumped from Night of Glory IX. As of this writing Jerome Dubois is still expected to work the event.

A source also confirmed that O'Callaghan will wrestle at Night of Glory IX despite not yet having an announced match.

Dubois & O'Callaghan are not expected to face one another.

The mystery identity of the figure involved in the backstage promo with Alex Walker on Proving Grounds is exactly that; "a mystery". Nobody with access to that information is disclosing anything so it would seem 6CWF is working extremely hard on keeping that secret. Look for this to develop into one of the big stories of the summer schedule.

It should also be noted that the Eddy Kent vs Chris Patricks vs Max Adamson match is expected to close Night of Glory IX Night 2 on May 19th. No confirmation on what that might mean given that a Max Adamson retirement angle or championship victory would be a fitting way to close 6CWF's first year in business.

Strong rumours abound that the momentary showdown between Genesis/Coalition after the tables match was deliberate. 6CWF sees this is a potential money feud heading into the summer and onwards to Born in Fire. It is also worth noting that this is one of several huge feuds currently being discussed internally; others include Dicey Reilly & Jerome Dubois, Enforcer vs Marty Helms and Perfect Execution vs The Brothers of Destruction.

Also don't be surprised to see multiple changes in world champions over the coming months - the JJ era is known for long standing champions (200 days+) but discussions have taken place about the realism seen in Boxing/UFC that would see new champions crowned at a higher frequency.
