it is just a suggestion like everything else. I would certainly like to see more of a crack down on people not keeping their pages updated with all their financial dealings

Personally I like the idea of a 9 week season then switch to Fifa 19 best and then we could a draft which I’d be happy to run or assist running (my thinking would be pools of players at each position to draft from, based on fifa ratings)

Not a fan of the extra documents etc would rather just keep it on the site - I’m one Bam would define as “lazy” Laugh

I think you can do what Nadz did and confirm for Friday, as long as it is clear to your opponent which players are eligible to play this week or not.

Personally I would just wait and accept the lawyers on Friday after squad cut off to avoid any confusion or arguments.

Cheers. Got massive massive decision to make.....

Lawyer both and get a 50m plus player in. Hoping I'm still in the hunt come the last game.

But if I do I actually lose around 16m based on current TM value.

It's the equivalent of putting all your chips on red knowing those chips would actually be worth more the next day.

Morning folks. So season 3, looks like we are leaning towards:

Length of season - 9 game season only
Week 1 start date - 21st August, first tactics on 24th
Date of TM value refreeze - 13th August (allows one set of lawyers at old price and one at new before the season starts)
Lawyers/TPs/Releases - same as normal, two per week

As its only a short season, how about my suggestion of two nominated lawyers at the end of the season, one before the refreeze and one after?

So it would be:
Weekend of 4th/5th - Final game of season 2
Tuesday 7th - two lawyers, one random and one nominated, both at season 2 value +10%
Monday 13th - players values are refrozen based on TM value at that date
Tuesday 14th - two lawyers, one random and one nominated, both at new season 3 value +10%
Tuesday 21st - start of season 3, two random lawyers as per normal

And throughout all this, you continue to get 2 TPs and 2 releases per week, running Tuesday to Monday.

I also suggest keeping any potential use of Google sheets to track transfers on the back burner until the FIFA 19 reboot. This will be a brand new game from scratch and we can discuss all these kind of things before kicking that off

I'm happy with most of that, but does feel like having 4 lawyers with 2 of them nominated between the seasons might be overkill in terms of cash coming into the league

I did think having 1 nominated, but you are going to have people who want it at old price and people want it at new price.

TBH whether they are nominated or not, it will be the same number of lawyers, so a similar risk of amount of cash coming in. We could just say 1 nominated lawyer per week, and no random ones, in the two weeks between seasons.

I think thats fine Afro, a bit more cash in the league for a 9 week final dart type season won't be a major issue for me

Also it gives us time to sort out the new league for Fifa 19 - whilst still enjoying some top class Fifa league TM action

If by then Nando can't finish second, I have no issue with it as long as you are both happy to do it.

I wouldn't blame Hero from not being given his CBs were decimated in the first game where you beat him. Things being even would be for injuries in this game too

I'd say no. I think it would have the opposite effect and make a bit of a mockery of it to be honest.

More that we have always tried to aim for a game that requires a squad and not just 11 Galacticos. Having no injuries in the most important game of the season, contradicts that tbh
