Which is reportedly something arranged by the owner. Although it’s all been kicked off, this stuff, by the owner blocking Rui Patricio’s transfer to Wolves after all things had been agreed

Looks like we’re signing Fabianski - the fine but not particularly great goalkeeping at West Ham continues

He’s decent and if the fee is £7m then I’m not unimpressed. Statswise, he’s about 5th best performer in the league last year

Fabianski maybe closer to 5m. Apparently close on Anderson and Pastore getting more likely. No interest in Maddison, Mawson interest is real but clubs way apart in valuation. The Brazilian defender (Santos) is waiting on a work permit.

James Maddison completes his move to Leicester for £21m up front, rising to £25m.
One of the best players I've ever seen pull on the yellow and green. Top player, and a top lad too, think it's a good move for him also. Hope he fulfills his potential and makes it to the top, should be an England international sooner rather than later

Inter Milan close to completing the signing of Roma’s Radja Nainggolan for €24m
Mikel Merino to join Real Sociedad for around £13m. Shame, but apparently home-sick.

Pastore then goes to Roma.
Waiting on the Jorginho move to start off others. Seri will be linked with us until Napoli sell Jorginho and buy him.

Good player and sad to see him leave Celtic, but his form last season wasn't a patch on his form the season before and £7 million is good money for us. Definitely had his head turned by his agent and that affected his form and I'm not sure he's made the best decision for his career (although am sure his bank account will be healthier).
If he gets back to his best then Southampton are getting an energetic and intelligent box to box midfielder with an eye for goal and capable of scoring off either foot.

Not a transfer per se, but more outlets running that Fellaini is set to stay at United.
I didn't like challenging for the league any way, made up he's staying. honest

Re: Ongoing Transfers thread
I think Fellaini was offered a new contract at Man Utd - and his agent has been sniffing around, creating stories, to drum up interest to see if someone elsewhere might step in and offer something better.
The same has happened with Wiltshire at Arsenal - he has been offered a new contract - but he is unhappy with it and is looking around now for something better.

Actually only about £10 million apparently (Ajax are a publicly traded company, so you tend not to get the 'undisclosed fee' stuff).Just John wrote:Ajax close to finalising an £18m deal for Southampton midfielder Dusan Tadic.

Re: Ongoing Transfers thread
As well as Fellaini signing a new contract, United are also set to sign 35 year old Lee Grant
What a time to be alive
Although to be fair to him when Butland got injured season before last, Grant proved competent enough and he'd be coming in as number 3 keeper. Still, watch United twitter go in to absolute meltdown and start up the Jose out bandwagon

Sokratis and Lichtsteiner are crap and old. Fellaini, and Grant, are too. Both clubs doing stupid things, and going relatively nowhere.
Delusional to think otherwise.

Wayne Rooney officially signs for DC United. Bit of a surprise really because it was only last season he said it was his dream to rejoin his boyhood club of Everton and that while at United he slept in Everton pajamas. Apparently, the dream only lasted one season. I suppose he'll be telling the DC fans that it was always his dream to play in America and he sleeps in Donald Trump pajamas.

Ki Sung-yueng, who left Swansea in May, has had a medical at #nufc
Meh. Good in possession, but not much else to say about that, other than it’s a free transfer. Merino’s replacement.

Juventus have put in an €88 million bid for Cristiano Ronaldo.
Move makes sense to me. Juventus get the star player that might get them the champions league win they crave.
Ronaldo gets a new start and set of fans to worship him.
Real's new manager gets money to bring in players he wants.

£15m for Ritchie. Great servent, but we need the money to strengthen. Ashley knows that at 28, it makes sense to cash in now.
