Apologies to Tino. I know this news will deeply upset him.

Yes, it has.

I got bitten on the hand the other day by our corn snake. My own fault as I got lazy with feeding him and wasn't paying attention. He struck for the defrosted mouse but I was holding it by the tail rather than using tongs and he missed and hit me just below the thumb. They only have tiny little teeth but they are razor sharp and once they latch on, they don't let go easily. So I had to walk to the sink with a snake attached and blood dripping off my hand. Then had to flick some water on his face to get him to let go. To make matters worse, he then rejected the mouse as he was clearly distressed.

Not sure if that is as exciting as clearing sh*t from a swimming pool but it is all I've got.

Sod Jeff, that story might get David Attenborough joining the forum.  Sounds a bit like my interactions with my cat, although her teeth aren't little and splashing water in her face would probably result in more bloodshed.

Many years ago I was giving a worming tablet to one of our cats. She managed to bite my thumb hard enough to get a fang through the nail. Most of the time she was a real sweetheart.

Commiserations, even if it was years ago.  My cat doesn't really bother with a veneer of lovability unless she wants feeding.  She tends to show affection to me by nipping my nose or nasal septum, drawing blood on occasion.

I have to give one of my cats 3 pills a day for a heart condition. No injuries, but occasionally find the tablet on the floor a day later - must hold it in his mouth for some time before spitting it out.

We were only about 10 or 11. I still remember the fear of thinking someone might discover us there and then... but luckily not a soul was in sight.

We had to trudge back to the house (one hour through difficult terrain); call the local cops... then walk back with them to the site where the guns were located. It was quite a thrill at the time but I also had a strong sense of evil about the find. Still do in fact. Someone must have been very p!ssed off.

I haven't been on a bus since I hopped on a random one outside Hamburg's stadium at the start of February last year. Ended up drinking beer with my mates at a pop-up bar under a motorway near a bus station. Still no idea where we actually were. It was still nicer than the St Paulli area though.

No plans at all. Snow has finally gone here so might finally be able to take my oldest daughter out on the bike we got her for Christmas. Other than that, will watch a few episodes of The Boys when everyone else has gone to bed.

I'm enjoying it and just started the second series. Have to watch it once Mrs Superfly has gone to bed as she wouldn't be a fan of some of the more bloody scenes in it so have on occasion watched it when a bit worse for wear and completely forgotten what's happened in some episodes.

Talking of simpler times, I remember when the only porn you could get would be from a carrier bag dumped in the woods.
