*The show goes live on air with a recap of last week's show and then an update from Doctor Suresh (who performed Marshall Murdoch's surgery). We learn that Murdoch did not suffer a detached retina, as first feared, but the cuts and bruising need to heal before a full prognosis can be determined. There is no timeframe given for the champion's return to action. The commentary team take over from inside the arena and they debate on whether Murdoch will be able to return and if his sight will ever be the same. We get a brief shot of a hooded Clarke James laying a wreath backstage next to a picture of Murdoch's title win.

*The commentary team launch into a full discussion and run through of what to expect from tonight's show. Clarke James' metamorphosis is the main topic of discussion but Jeff Thadeus is tipping Tyler Roth whilst Jack Reynolds believes Perfect Jack's experience will be the telling factor. The Uryu/Gazzy/Christy and Ethan Shaw issues are talked about as well as the continued return of Daniel Reilly.

*Backstage and Perfect Jack is standing with Fleur Michaels ahead of his clash with Karl Kramer. Fleur asks about Clarke James but PJ wants to concentrate on his match. He's made it clear that he is disgusted in what CJ has become and he refuses to accept this new version of his friend but right now his focus is Karl Kramer and whatever shenanigans the Kramer Klan may have up their sleeves. PJ touches upon the fact that he should be world champion by now (after making Marshall tap at Born in Fire) but instead of dwelling on the past he is determined to set the record straight in this tournament and get his hands on world gold. PJ says he and Marshall were never friends but he hopes Murdoch makes a full recovery and then they can dance again

*The scene changes and Charles & Karl Kramer are with Travis Sharp. Charles Kramer seems in a confident mood as he explains that recognition for his nephew's talent are long overdue but finally this tournament will change all of that. Karl is the King of 6CW and yet he still isn't respected, revered or feared in the fashion he should be but once the world title is around his waist there will be nobody doubting them any longer. CK advises Marshall Murdoch never to return unless he wants to be permanently blinded because KK will show him no mercy. Travis Sharp tries to ask about Tyler Roth and what KK did to him last week but CK says that they are not concentrating on trivial matters. Tonight's target is Perfect Jack and that target will answer to the crown's justice.

Bout 1
6CW Interim Championship Tournament
King Karl Kramer vs Perfect Jack

*The commentary team hype up the opening contest and we get brief clips of both PJ and KK coming close to dethroning Marshall Murdoch in recent months.

*Jack is out alone whilst Kramer is carried out onto the stage whilst sat in his royal throne. Charles Kramer accompanies him to ringside and we go through the tradition of Kramer’s royal garments being removed.

*Kramer demands PJ take the knee before the opening bell and it looks as though Jack is about to oblige but instead he shoots for a double legged takedown and unloads with right hands. Kramer rolls from the ring in anger and looks annoyed as his uncle calms him.

*KK returns to the ring and he feints for a lockup before booting PJ in the gut. He pushes him back into the ropes and drops him with a clothesline as he returns. Kramer headbutts Jack into the corner and then whips him to the opposite corner but Jack storms back out with a flying back elbow takedown. They get back up and Jack lands a succession of knife edge chops, drawing the “Woooos” from the crowd, before lifting Kramer onto the turnbuckle

*PJ prepares for a superplex but Kramer battles free and succeeds with a sitout spinebuster/slam from the second rope for a near fall. Kramer builds momentum with a hat-trick of scooped slam and then he runs the ropes and returns with a big splash that gets another two

*Kramer sets up for the “Kiss the ring” but Jack dodges it and bridges into a German suplex for a two count. Jack ducks into Kramer as they rise for a side suplex, landing Kramer on his head, and then goes to the corner. Jack lands the elbow drop from on high but Charles Kramer distracts the referee at the count of two

*PJ wants to go after The Consultant but is held back by the referee. Turns attention to Kramer but takes a blindside low blow. KK recovers and underhooks Jack into a sickening powerbomb for a two

*Kramer looks to pull PJ up into “Karnage” but Jack rolls over the back and grabs a two count with a rollup. They scramble up and Jack attempts the “Perfect” Slam but Kramer jumps out the side and nails a lifted STO for another two

*The Kramer Klan complain to the referee about his count but falls on deaf ears. KK lines up for the “Cannonball run” but Jack avoids impact and nails a hat-trick of German suplexes for a two. PJ drags KK up for the “Perfect” Plex but Kramer elbows his way free and then he scoops Jack into a “World’s Strongest” Slam for a two. Kramer lets PJ roll closer to the corner and looks for the catapult avalanche splash (ala Jack Swagger) off the turnbuckle but funds nothing but knees

*Jack recovers and he nails the “Perfect” Plex for the destined three count but Charles Kramer distracts again. PJ rolls from the ring to confront CK and grabs him by the front of the shirt. KK recovers enough to attack Jack from behind and smashes him against the plexiglass barrier before launching him against the steel steps

*KK returns to the ring and believes he has the count out win but PJ returns to the apron on the count of eight. Kramer launches him over the top rope into the ring and then drags him in for “Karnage” but Jack counters with a DDT.

*Both men recover and Jack looks for the “Perfect” Slam but Kramer spins free and nails the “Karnage” spinebuster out of nowhere. The three count seems certain but the crowd respond as Jack kicks out. KK confronts the referee but is warned about his conduct.

*KK lines up for the “Kiss the ring” punch once again but Jack drops him centre ring with a drop toe hold and synches in the figure four out of nowhere. KK is in a world of agony but tries to drag himself toward the ropes for safety. Charles Kramer manages to push the ropes further forward so his nephew can grab them, prompting huge boos.

*CK turns to the crowd and mocks them as PJ leans over the ropes and drags him onto the apron. Charles Kramer pleads for mercy but Jack nails a “Perfect” Slam that lifts CK over the ropes and drills him into the canvass. The referee gets rid of CK but doesn’t see KK with the royal sceptre as he drives it into Jack’s gut.

JT: That should have been a damn disqualification….these Kramer matches are turning into a joke…

JR: May as well be a handicap situation…

HE: Who cares...the King is ready to advance….KISS THE RING!

The boos ring out as Kramer bounces off the ropes and returns with the leaping Superman punch that lands clean on the jaw of Perfect Jack….

1.

..
….
…..2
..
..

………………….3!

HE: Kramer is one step closer…

JT: HOLD YOUR HORSES!

JR: THE REAPER….

There are cheers as the referee spots Perfect Jack’s foot on the bottom rope and we see Tyler Roth standing at ringside with a grin on his face…

HE: What are you doing, Tyler?

JT: Roth put Jack’s foot on the bottom rope…

JR: He’s responding to the Kramer attack last week….you can’t go after a man like Tyler Roth and not expect repercussions…

Karl Kramer is on his knees, blinking in disbelief, as Tyler Roth stares straight at him. Roth grabs the royal sceptre from the corner and then beckons for Kramer to come and get it…

JT: Tyler Roth goading Kramer now….

JR: I don’t think Karl Kramer is afraid to fight Tyler Roth…..this could be a titanic tussle…

JT: And Uncle Charles isn’t conscious enough to stop it…

HE: OH NO!

Roth grins as he snaps the sceptre across his knee and launches the pieces across the floor. Karl Kramer is shaking in fury as Roth then begins to walk off up to the ramp…

JR: I don’t think Kramer has a clue how to respond here….

*Huge cheers from the audience

JT: OH MY WORD….KRAMER KINGDOM CRUSHED!

Tyler Roth lets out a roar as he lifts the royal throne up off the stage and then launches it off the side of the stage, causing it to shatter into pieces. Karl Kramer is standing in the middle of the ring in outrage, he lets out a shout of despair…

HE: That’s treason….he besmirched the throne…..disrespected the King…

JT: Karl Kramer had it coming….

HE: No more, please…

Tyler Roth has a smile on his face as he walks back to the top of the ramp with the royal crown in his hands. Karl Kramer has his hands up, pleading for mercy, but Roth just shakes his head as he starts to bend the crown out of shape…

HE: I can’t watch this dishonour…..Roth should be hung, drawn and quartered for this…

JT: I think The Reaper has his eyes on the King of 6CW….

Karl Kramer has his head in his hands and lets out a wail akin to an injured animal as he watches Roth destroying his property….

1.
….
…...2
..
…………….3!

JR: Perfect Jack almost stole it…

Jack grabs Kramer from behind and rolls him up KK just manages to kick out before three. They scramble back up and Kramer dodges Jack before running off the ropes…

HE: KISS THE RING!

JT: It’s all he has left….

Jack catches the hand of Kramer on the way down, blocking the punch, and then he flips up his back to lock his legs around Kramer’s other arm and pulls him down into a modified crucifix pin….

1.
..
...2
..
……….3!

HE: NO!

PJ rolls from the ring and raises an arm in the air as the referee’s hand touches down for the three. “Perfection” is blasting out as the official joins PJ in the aisle to declare him the winner…

HE: This is an outrage….a royal scandal….I demand a re-match…

JT: Calm down, Trump…..the result is official and there’s no controversy here…..King Karl Kramer and his royal jester have had this coming to them a long time….

JR: Karl Kramer’s hopes of being 6CW Champion just shattered into pieces….much like his throne, sceptre and crown…

HE: Tyler Roth better prepare to face the wrath of the Kingdom…

JT: I think Tyler Roth is hoping for exactly that…..Charles Kramer has been trying to get under his skin for weeks and finally he’s had enough…..there is a storm brewing and I think we’re right in the eye of it…

Tyler Roth is still smirking from the stage as Charles Kramer staggers into the ring to crouch next to his nephew, both men stare up at Roth with disbelief and hatred. Roth turns and leaves as the crowd continue to celebrate with Perfect Jack…

JR: Jack advances and he will compete in next week’s semi finals….he is one step closer to being 6CW Champion once more…

JT: The first of tonight’s quarter finals and what a match….if the other three are anything like that then we are in for a treat…

HE: Are we just going to brush over what happened here? Karl Kramer was supposed to win here….the King of 6CW has been robbed…the 6CW Council have to act…

JT: The Council don’t have to do a damn thing...you weren’t complaining when the Kramer Klan were using every dirty trick in the book to cheat PJ out of this match…..fortunately Tyler Roth was on hand to even the odds….and he didn’t even have to physically interject himself…

HE: Well he better watch his back because hell hath no fury like a King protecting his throne…

JR: His throne is gone…

HE: Metaphorically….he’s still the king and that can’t be taken away from him…

JR: True but he isn’t the 6CW Champion and that is a fact...

*We get a pre-taped interview between Dante Phoenix and Timothy Allen. TA wants to ask Phoenix about the mysterious "Hellion" character and how he came into existence. Phoenix seems reluctant to open up but admits that he has always struggled with the inner force. His past problems with alcohol where as a result of trying to remove the "darkness" but instead it plunged his life further into decay. Phoenix' whole life was taken away from him when he lost his family and he blames his battle with "Hellion" for that. Phoenix admits he has been running from "Hellion" but unfortunately he is too strong to completely eradicate from existence. Timothy Allen explains that it seems "Hellion" is almost supernatural and that under that guise Phoenix looks almost unbeatable. Dante nods his head and explains that the most success he has ever had in his career is when "Hellion" is in the driver's seat but that means surrendering control. Phoenix goes on to explain that each time that he transforms is like going into a deep sleep and when he awakes he does not recall what he has done. All he knows is that "Hellion" does not play by the same rules or adhere to the same morals as he and therefore he cannot allow him to present on a frequent occasion. The interview is interrupted by an irate Marty Helms who wants to confront Phoenix on his comments from last week about being an "egomaniac". Helms challenges Phoenix to back up his words at "World's End" (when Helms is cleared to compete) and watch as he destroys another of Cillian Frost's "blue eyed boys". Phoenix stands and it is clear that he is struggling inside of his own head. Helms seems amused by Dante's internal struggle and mocks him. He tells Dante to "man up" and face him without the facepaint. Phoenix tells him there'll only be one man in the opposite corner at the PPV and Helms is looking at him. Helms promises to break Dante the same way he broke Dicey and when he's finished they can lock him up with his mate "Engel".

*Perfect Jack walks into the backstage area following his victory over Karl Kramer. Daniel Reilly is on hand to congratulate his former ally. The two men reminisce and Reilly reiterates that if PJ wins the tournament he wants first shot, to which PJ laughs. GazzyD enters the scene to offer his congratulations. There is a brief staredown between Gazzy and Daniel Reilly and then they shake hands. Gazzy tells Reilly it's good to see him back and he couldn't help overhear he wants his hands on championship gold. Gazzy is looking for an opponent for his open challenge tonight so why don't they turn back the clock and show these youngsters how it's done. Reilly agrees and PJ tells them he's looking forward to it. PJ moves away and finds himself face to face with Clarke James. The two men just stare at one another before CJ turns his back and walks away

*The scene changes and Charles Kramer is throwing an irate fit whilst voicing his demands for a re-match to Renier Grohl. Karl Kramer is pacing, looking murderous, but Grohl explains that he is not a decision maker. CK demands contact details for someone who does make decisions but Grohl says the Council will make an announcement as and when they see fit. Karl Kramer punches a hole in the wall and make it clear that he is going to destroy Tyler Roth

Bout 2
Ricky Nelson vs James McManus

*We get a recap of the issues between The Parasite Killers and The Next Big Things that reared their head last week during the TV Title match.

*Mike Hill accompanies Ricky Nelson to ringside whilst James McManus is joined by his wife, Jenny, and The Fanatic. There is plenty of trash talk between both teams before the bell sounds

*Nelson and McManus get up in each other’s faces and Nelson slaps McManus which causes JM to respond with a fierce right hook that knocks his opponent down. Nelson is whipped off the ropes and then sent flying by a huge backbody drop. He stumbles up and McManus clotheslines him over the top to the outside.

*McManus provides the distraction with the referee as The Fanatic drags Nelson up and throws him against the steel steps before back into the ring. McManus gets a two count as Mike Hill complains to the referee.

*McManus headbutts Nelson back into the corner and mudhole stomps at the gut. He lifts Nelson up on the turnbuckle and climbs up for a superplex but Nelson fights out and counters with an incredible sunset flip powerbomb

*They stagger up and Nelson hits a spinning heel kick and then a lionsault. The referee counts and it looks like three until Jenny McManus places her husband’s foot on the ropes.

*There are more complaints from Hill/Nelson before Nelson sets for the “Rapid Fire”. McManus battles free and shoves Nelson back into the ropes but Nelson comes back with a leaping headscissors takedown. They get back up and Nelson attempts a springboard DDT but leaps into a solid kick to the gut and the “River Wensum Plunge”. This time Mike Hill distracts the referee before the three can be completed.

*The commentary team talk about the referee having trouble controlling the outside influences as James McManus rolls from the ring to confront Mike Hill. Hill stands his ground but then The Fanatic joins McManus for the handicap situation. Jenny McManus is gleeful until Ricky Nelson comes over the top rope with a running senton splash onto The Parasite Killers

*Nelson throws McManus back into the ring and then kicks The Fanatic in the face for good measure. He climbs up onto the apron and nails a sunset plancha before dragging McManus up and scores with “Rapid Fire”. The three count is a certainty but Jenny McManus pulls the referee from the ring.

*The referee argues with Jenny and threatens to dismiss her from ringside. Ricky Nelson goes up top for the “New next big move” but The Fanatic climbs up on the apron and swipes his legs. The Fanatic gets in the ring and he chokeslams Nelson from the top into centre ring as Jenny McManus continues her argument with the referee. Mike Hill has seen enough and he scales the ropes before coming off with a missile dropkick to take The Fanatic off his feet. James McManus has recovered and he floors Hill with a short armed lariat before dragging Nelson up and he scoops him on his shoulders for the “tombstone”. Nelson battles off the back and attempts “Rapid Fire” again but McManus manages to shove him away.

*The Fanatic is back up and he kicks Nelson in the stomach before flipping him for the “Total Elimination” powerbomb as the referee finally turns back around to see the mayhem. Mike Hill gets up in time to dropkick The Fanatic’s knees, causing him to drop Nelson as the official signals for the bell and declares a no contest

*Jenny McManus is shrieking in annoyance from the outside as The Parasite Killers and The Next Big Things stare down from opposite sides of the ring. The commentary team debate what is next for both teams and the general consensus is that a showdown between them is inevitable.

*Liam Wood is being interviewed by Tim Allen when we go backstage. Wood is in a confident mood that he will beat Crime Lord tonight and move forward in the tournament. Wood says when he was in EWF he had it all; inside and outside of the ring and he is within touching distance of having that again. Wood says he will be a double champion once more and Timothy Allen wants to ask about what he has "outside of the ring" but then Crime Lord interrupts. Crime Lord pities Wood for losing his bottle and going back, cap in hand, to the same fans that used to boo him. Crime Lord tells Wood he is weak and not worthy of the UK Championship let alone the 6CW Championship. Crime Lord doesn't care about Wood's "personal life" but promises him that he'll have very little else to cheer about once Crime Lord is finished decimating him here tonight.

*The Parasite Killers and The Next Big Things continue to argue in the backstage area. Jenny McManus is shrieking as the two teams shove one another before Renier Grohl intervenes. Grohl informs them that the 6CW Council is pleased to see the re-emergence of tag team competitiveness so next week these two teams will pick opponents for one another to prove who is the dominant force. The Council wants to know who is best equipped to breathe life into the historic division.

*We get a brief clip of Charles Kramer on the phone. Kramer is speaking animatedly in Japanese and indicates to whoever is on the phone that they have the green light

Bout 3
6CW Interim Championship Tournament
Crime Lord vs Liam Wood

*We get a recap of the PJ-Kramer quarter final and then the commentary team begin their hype for this bout. They refer to the 6 combined world title reigns of both men and wonder if a seventh is in the offing. Jack Reynolds refers to it as “main event worthy” as the combatants make their entrances.

*Crime Lord bursts out from the corner and takes Wood up off his feet as he charges him back into the turnbuckle. He lands with three successive shoulder thrusts and then an over the head belly to belly suplex that sends Wood to centre ring. Crime Lord roars at Wood to rise as he charges out for the “Drive By” knee but Wood ducks it and then lands a kick to the gut and the “Manson Driver”. The three count looks imminent as the commentators are in shock but Crime Lord rolls from the ring for preservation.

*The debate rumbles on Crime Lord’s preference to start so quickly and how it is has backfired. The referee starts a count out and reaches seven as Crime Lord pulls himself up on the apron, although clearly still dazed. The UK Champion sizes him up and then looks for an apron spear but Crime Lord slams a knee through the ropes to block Wood’s run and sends him staggering back. CL gets back into the ring and twists his body around into a huge lariat for a two count

*Crime Lord tries to get Wood up on his shoulders for the “Lock n Load” but Wood fights out and then runs the ropes, only to return into a bearhug side slam. Crime Lord quickly pulls Wood up into an STO for a two

*Wood gets up but Crime Lord times a lazy right hand for the “Criminal Crossface” but Wood rolls out. They scramble up and Wood sidesteps, sending Crime Lord off the ropes, before flapjacking him into the canvass on the comeback. Wood then locks in the “Viper Lock”

*Wood has the submission synched deep for a good couple of minutes but Crime Lord refuses to quit and then shows incredible strength to stand up, with Wood on his back, and then drops backwards so that he lands on top of his opponent on the deck.

*Crime Lord stumbles up in the corner and Wood runs toward him but is caught by a corner STO (ala Samoa Joe) that slams Wood on the back of his head. Wood rolls to centre ring and Crime Lord nails the “Drive By” knee to the skull for the nearest of falls

*Crime Lord is irate with the official but his complaints fall on deaf ears. Wood is all at sea as he struggles up and is lifted onto his opponent’s shoulders. Crime Lord sets for the “Lock n Load” but Wood lands out on his feet before countering with a snap DDT. Both men are hurting but Wood eventually gets to the top rope and lands a flying lariat takedown. Wood scores with a dead-lift brainbuster (the commentary remark on his power) and then goes high again with an elbow drop to the chest that gets him a two.

*Wood sets up and runs for the “Psycho Crusher” foot stomp but Crime Lord avoids and then snaps off a hat-trick of German suplexes. Crime Lord then scores with the “Lock n Load” as everyone in the arena expects the three but Wood finds the bottom rope with his foot.

*The commentators talk about how Crime Lord’s fatigue caused the lapse but CL wants to blame the referee. He shoves the official several times, risking disqualification, before focusing back on Liam Wood. He pulls the UK Champion back up for a second F-5 but Wood slips behind. Wood spins Crime Lord around and looks for a “Rainmaker” lariat but Crime Lord dodges it and nails a neckbreaker for another two.

*Crime Lord mocks Wood and then scores with five more German suplexes, the last a huge release that sends Wood across the ring. Wood is clearly in a lot of discomfort as he struggles for breath

JT: Wood could be looking at broken ribs here….at the very least some serious bruising….

JR: It’s the first time I have seen Liam Wood dominated in this fashion in a very long time….impressive display from Crime Lord thus far..

HE: This is what a world champion looks like...the gulf between these two is startling..

JT: Liam Wood is the current UK Champion and he’s fought a solid fight but Crime Lord seems to have hit all gears here tonight….

JR: We’ve been waiting for him to put it together like this for quite some time now….he’s threatened it over the last six months but tonight all the pieces seem to be fitting…

HE: And now he ends it…

JT: Wood has sustained so much damage….he can’t withstand another of these…..LOCK N LOAD!

1.
..

…..2
..
..
..
…………...3!

Wood has to use the ropes to get to his feet as Crime Lord stalks him from behind. The UK Champion staggers around and onto the ropes of his opponent, offering no resistance. Crime Lord then spins him over for the F-5 but Wood somehow manages to twist his body in midair and drags his foe down into a victory roll position for the shock three count!

HE: Shambles…..that is a disgrace…

JT: That is professional wrestling…..that’s why we love this business….

JR: It looked a foregone conclusion...it was a done deal…

JT: Obviously not….three seconds just changed the whole complexion on this one…..Crime Lord seemed destined for the semi-finals but it is Liam Wood who progresses….the United Kingdom Champion’s quest to become a double champion is still alive…

HE: Crime Lord has been cheated by dreadful officiating….he should lodge a complaint with the 6CW Council….

JT: We’ve seen in recent weeks that he seems to have friends in high places so don’t rule anything out but for the time being Crime Lord is eliminated from the hunt for the Interim 6CW Champion….despite all the domination, the result is what matters and the result says he lost…

Crime Lord is on his knees, his face full of rage, as “Revival Mode” screams from the speakers and Liam Wood rolls from the ring with a triumphant fist pump. The UK Champion doubles over, struggling to catch his breath, but the official joins him on the outside to raise his arm in victory…

JR: Liam Wood is going to be feeling the effects of this one for awhile, that is a certainty, but he’ll recover a whole lot better knowing he is one step closer to the mountain top…

JT: He’ll need to be assessed, no doubt, because he was on the wrong side of Crime Lord’s power far too often but, as you say, he can rest easy for at least a couple of weeks knowing that the next time he competes it will be for the opportunity to compete for a world title once more…

HE: Don’t count on it...Crime Lord will be lodging a formal complaint….

JR: Crime Lord looks like he may destroy anyone who gets in his path right now….I’d recommend a wide berth…

Wood is handed his UK Championship and he staggers into the aisle as the fans applaud him. Crime Lord punches the turnbuckle three times and lets out an angry howl as he turns to watch Wood’s retreat. The referee is on the outside and is trying to talk to Crime Lord but he quickly scarpers as CL begins to exit the ringside

HE: There’ll be consequences to this, mark my words…

JT: I don’t doubt Crime Lord’s thirst for revenge but the result, as far as I know, is final…..Perfect Jack and now Liam Wood are guaranteed semi-finalists….who else will join them in the race of the Championship?

Post by JJJohnson Tue 08 Dec 2020, 9:45 am

*GazzyD and Christy James are backstage talking about Uryu and Ethan Shaw. Gazzy is concerned for Christy's welfare and doesn't want her in the firing line for anyone. He expresses that he blames Uryu for putting her in danger but Christy explains that it was her decision to confront Shaw last week. Gazzy isn't happy about Christy's part in Uryu's affairs but she insists they are just friends and Gazzy has nothing to worry about. Gazzy doesn't look overly convinced by his wife but nods his head and says he needs to prepare for his upcoming match because he knows Reilly won't cut any corners.

*Ethan Shaw is shown in his locker-room, alone, with pictures up of Uryu, Christy and GazzyD. Shaw rambles into a monologue about making an impact in 6CW and one by one he is going to take out everyone on the roster. Shaw promises pain and suffering but who will be victim number one. He picks up a dart and throws it at the pictures but we don't see which one it hits.

*Uryu is interviewed by Fleur Michaels. Uryu is sorry that Christy almost got hurt last week and takes responsibility. He apologises to GazzyD as well and explains that was never his intention, Christy is his friend and he will do anything to protect her. Uryu understands how dangerous Ethan Shaw is and he sees the same traits in him that he saw in Engel Harlequin and Cassius Zhi before that. Ishida says he is not afraid of Shaw and will fight him anytime and anyplace but tonight is about Jimmy Phillips. Uryu knows Phillips is making a name off of destroying "veterans" and that makes him a prime target but promises Phillips that this old timer gives as good as he gets so he can take his best shot.

Bout 4
6CW TV Championship
GazzyD (c) vs ???

*We get a VT of the long-term history of GazzyD & Daniel Reilly including Gazzy winning the 6CW Championship from Reilly at Night of Glory III in 2011

*GazzyD enters the arena to a great fanfare and he takes his time to milk the ovation. He climbs up onto the 6CW announce table (situated on the stage) to bask in the applause and then does the same when he reaches ringside. The champion climbs up into the ring and unstraps his belt from around his waist as he awaits his opponent.

*The cameras go backstage and we see Daniel Reilly making his way toward the ring when Jimmy Phillips slams into him from the side. Reilly tries to fight back but Phillips smashes him with repeated knees and then launches him inside a side cupboard. Phillips shuts the door and lodges a plank of wood between the lock. Phillips then pushes a production case in front of the door as we can hear Reilly trying to break free from inside. Phillips has a grin on his face as he swaggers away from the scene

*The commentary team are stunned by events, as is GazzyD, as the questions begin to what is going to happen next. Gazzy is preparing to leave the ring and go backstage when Ethan Shaw appears on the stage, a dark expression on the newcomer’s face. Shaw just stands on the stage and surveys Gazzy as the commentary team wonder what is going on. Shaw then starts his descent to ringside as Gazzy prepares himself for a fight. Shaw circles the ring and then climbs up inside as Gazzy rushes forward and starts to attack.

*Gazzy does his best to keep Shaw at bay with punches and kicks but he is launched across the canvass. He gets back up to his feet as Shaw pump kicks him clean in the face and almost takes his head off.

*Shaw has evil intentions as he drags Gazzy up and launches him against all four turnbuckles in a row, each time the TV Champion is flipped upside down in the corner. Gazzy is clearly in a lot of pain as Shaw beckons for him to stand once again.

JR: GazzyD’s night is about to get a whole lot worse…

JT: It went from a title defence against Daniel Reilly to a full blown beatdown from Ethan Shaw in a very short space of time…

HE: Gazzy is about to feel the same kind of pain that Uryu and Blade have in recent weeks…

JT: Oh dear….no, Christy, what are you doing?

The fans cheer but there are a lot of concerned faces as Christy James comes running out from the backstage area. Ethan Shaw is alerted to her presence and his eyes narrow as the backstage reporter climbs into the ring to get between her husband and his attacker…

JR: I understand Christy doesn’t want to see her husband hurt here but she’s putting herself in real danger….I don’t think Shaw gives a damn who he hurts…

JT: Had Gazzy not intervened last week then I think Shaw would have attacked Christy then….I believe that is the reason behind tonight’s assault…

Christy is knelt over Gazzy, consoling him, as Shaw stands over them. Christy turns her head to face Shaw and she looks worried…

HE: Christy has made a very grave error of judgement in coming out here….

JT: Someone needs to stop this…..LEAVE HER ALONE!

Shaw suddenly snatches Christy’s hair and pulls her up toward her feet. Christy is pleading for Shaw to let go and tries to break free but Shaw’s grip is firm…

JR: I dread to think how this one ends…

Big cheers ring out as Uryu comes sprinting down the ramp and onto the apron. He springboards in and smashes Shaw in the head with a forearm that sends the narcissist staggering away and forces him to release Christy. Uryu makes sure Christy is in a safe place and then he looks for a superkick on Shaw…

HE: Fool….Uryu came out to be a hero and now he’s going to suffer…

Shaw ducks Uryu’s attack and then chops him in the throat. Uryu doubles up and is coughing and spluttering as Shaw begins to drag him down into the triangle choke…

JT: GAZZY BACK UP!

The TV Champion flies through the air with a front dropkick/claymore that sends Shaw rolling across the ring. Both Uryu and Gazzy get back to their feet and they share a brief look before sprinting forward with a double dropkick that sends Shaw through the ropes and into the aisleway…

JR: Gazzy and Uryu working together to thwart Ethan Shaw from his very evil intentions…

JT: Not what I believed we’d see after their recent exchanges but Gazzy and Uryu have united for the night against a common enemy….

Ethan Shaw is up in the aisle, cold fury all over his face, and he seems to be contemplating another attack as Uryu and Gazzy stare after him. Shaw, finally, begins to retreat as Gazzy quickly rushes to his wife’s side…

JR: I don’t think this will be the last time we see Ethan Shaw come after either of Uryu or GazzyD…

JT: Or even Christy…..Ethan Shaw is a dangerous, malicious individual and I fear for those on his hit list…

JR: We don’t even know his intentions or why he has chosen these targets but the fact is that he has and he is pursuing them relentlessly…

HE: Gazzy needs to have a long think and maybe head back to retirement with his wife and keep her safe…

JT: GazzyD isn’t one to run from a challenge…

JR: But this maybe more than that….

HE: And she needs protecting from Uryu too….he’s like a lovesick puppy…

JT: Oh please….Uryu and Christy are friends, nothing more….and Uryu saved Christy here tonight….GazzyD should be thankful…

JR: GazzyD was scheduled to face Daniel Reilly here tonight in, what I’m sure, would have been a classic….but instead he has found himself fighting off 6CW’s newest demonic force…..where does this new road lead?

JT: And will he and Uryu be forced to work together again? Can they work together again?

HE: They may not have a choice…

Christy is sat next to the ropes looking shellshocked as Gazzy hugs her close to him. Uryu watches Ethan Shaw leave and then turns to look down as Gazzy stares up at him.

6CW Proving Grounds Results 7th December 2020 Empty Re: 6CW Proving Grounds Results 7th December 2020

Post by JJJohnson Tue 08 Dec 2020, 9:58 am

*Tyler Roth is standing with Travis Sharp. Roth says tonight he is going to show why he is the most feared man on the roster. He laughs off the threat of the Wolf Gang and dares them to bring it on because he has more than enough for every single one of them. He points to his accolades in Japan and in Bellator before promising that he will be world champion. Travis Sharp asks about earlier tonight and if there is any fear of retribution from the Kramer Klan. Roth says he fears no man and he knows sooner or later they'll come for revenge but they won't like what they find. He knows all about Charles Kramer and what he is capable of but he won't be caught out. Roth declares anyone would be foolish to come after The Reaper

*Ojore and Drake are voicing complaints to Robin Reborn. They want to be taken seriously and show what they are capable of. Reborn understands and promises them the rightful platform but he needs them to concentrate on tonight. Reborn explains that with the 6CW Championship in their possession they can make a difference and force the company to wake up. They can overthrow the establishment and remove the shackles of oppression. Reborn calls them "brothers" and says together they will force the hand that has fed them nothing but scraps.

*The scene changes and there is a commotion as Crime Lord is shown attacking several members of the 6CW crew. He launches one man against the wall with such force that he renders him unconscious and then he picks another up and F-5's him onto a production case. Renier Grohl comes rushing into the picture and informs Crime Lord that the 6CW Council want him removed from the building. Crime Lord teeters on the edge of attacking Grohl but is warned his contract will be terminated. He backs away with a snarl and leaves, promising to return with the wrath of God.

6CW Proving Grounds Results 7th December 2020 Empty Re: 6CW Proving Grounds Results 7th December 2020

Post by JJJohnson Tue 08 Dec 2020, 9:58 am

Bout 5
6CW Interim Championship Tournament
Robin Reborn vs Tyler Roth

*Tyler Roth is first out to ringside as we get a rundown of his credentials in Japan. We then get a clip of earlier in the night when Roth destroyed Karl Kramer’s royal furniture.

*A wry smile crosses Roth’s face as Ojore and Drake walk to ringside but Reborn is nowhere to be seen. Roth rips off his vest and prepares for the fight as Ojore and Drake climb up on opposite sides of the ring.

*Drake is first through the ropes and Roth hammers into him, trapping him in the corner with brutal knees to the body. Ojore runs behind and clatters Roth before spinning him around into a huge standing belly to belly slam. Ojore then runs the ropes and looks for a huge splash on the return but Roth moves just in time

*Roth grabs Ojore and nails a European uppercut before following up with a discus lariat that takes the Ugandan down. Ojore begins getting back up and he eats a superkick that knocks him into the ropes and then he comes forward and Roth lifts him onto his shoulders. Roth is looking for a variation on the running musclebuster when Drake comes from the corner with a big boot that takes Roth down.

*Roth staggers up in the corner and Drake/Ojore perform a tandem Irish whip that sends Ojore crashing against Roth with a huge splash. Ojore then launches Roth from the corner into a rib-crushing spear from Drake as the audience boo

*Robin Reborn appears on the stage and he looks smug as he makes his way down to the ring. Ojore then drags Roth up and is preparing for the “Bonfire” but Roth battles off the back and shoves Ojore into Drake. Ojore then turns around and Roth demolishes him with a giant AA spinebuster. Drake gets to his feet and Roth shows his immense power to nail the fisherman’s hook into a running musclebuster as Reborn stops dead in the aisleway. Roth is on his knees, glaring at Reborn, and beckons for his opponent to come and fighting

*Reborn takes a few moments, pacing back and forth, to psyche himself up before heading toward the ring. Roth looks ready to fight and then he is attacked from behind by an unknown assailant in a mask. The masked man manages to pull Roth around and lands a heavy kick to the stomach but Roth recovers enough to throw them away to the corner. Roth locks eyes with his attacker and then gives chase as they dive out of the ring

*We see Roth giving chase up the ramp as Robin Reborn regains his composure, a smile on his face, and rolls into the ring.

JT: I’d bet good money that Charles Kramer is wearing that mask…

JR: I’m not so sure, he was moving pretty sprightly to be Kramer…

HE: Roth is hardly likeable, I’d imagine he has lots of enemies…

JT: Oh please...earlier tonight Tyler Roth destroys Karl Kramer’s royal throne and costs him his place in the next round of the 6CW Championship Tournament and you don’t think this is retaliation?

JR: I hear what you are saying, Jeff, and it wouldn’t surprise me….but there’s also Robin Reborn and the Wolf Gang, it can’t be denied that they are set to benefit from this the most…

Reborn is remonstrating with the referee as Tyler Roth disappears behind the curtain. The official looks reluctant to oblige with what Reborn is asking but realises that he has little choice…

JR: Reborn calling for a count-out victory here…

JT: But the match never begun…

HE: Roth is not fulfilling his obligation…

JR: It’s not like he had a lot of choice…

JT: First it was Ojore and Drake…..then whoever in the hell was wearing that mask….Tyler Roth has royally screwed here…

The referee interacts with the timekeeper and then he begins his count. Robin Reborn backs into the corner and sits on the turnbuckle as Ojore and Drake start to recover. Reborn is all smiles as the referee’s count reaches seven….

HE: Robin Reborn is going to be so fresh heading into the semi-finals as well….he has to be the favourite now….

JT: With the Wolf Gang by his side, doing his dirty work, absolutely…

The audience in attendance make their voices heard as the referee’s count reaches ten and he calls for the bell. Reborn stands on the turnbuckle to bask in his “victory” as Ojore and Drake reach their feet…

JR: Ojore and Drake may not know much about it but they played their part here tonight…..Robin Reborn, without breaking sweat, has advanced to the semi-finals….

HE: One step closer to opening the eyes of the world to the Wolf Gang’s crusade….

JT: Reborn holding the 6CW Championship could arguably become the most powerful man in this company….and insufferable…

HE: The Wolf Gang’s message needs to be heard, Jeff….

Reborn jumps off the turnbuckle and walks to the centre of the ring. He demands the referee raise his arm in victory before he drops to one knee with his fist in the air. Ojore and Drake follow motion as the crowd’s noise silences.

JR: The landscape of professional wrestling could be about to change…

JT: We’ve got three semi-finalists….only one more to go…

The scene then changes from ringside to the backstage area as we see the masked assailant sprinting for safety as Tyler Roth gives chase. A car is running outside and Karl Kramer can be seen, itching to head inside to fight Tyler Roth, as Charles Kramer pleads with him to get inside the vehicle. The family members seem to be in dispute.

JR: Well I guess that rules out Charles or Karl Kramer under that mask…

JT: Doesn’t mean they aren’t involved…

We see the masked man disappear through a door and then from another angle the door flies open as Tyler Roth walks out into the open air. Roth stops as he sees Charles and Karl Kramer.

HE: Get in the car, Karl….

KK snarls but his uncle’s grip tightens on his wrist and he reluctantly climbs inside the car. Roth begins making his way down the steps toward the vehicle’s position but it speeds off into the night….

JT: The Kramer Klan getting the hell out of Dodge…..and you really believe they havent had a part to play in what has happened tonight?

JR: I want to know where the masked man went….he definitely went through that door…

JT: Probably in the back of that damn car….

HE: Now you’re making things up….we would have seen him…

Roth watches the car disappear into the night, anger in his eyes, and then he scans the perimeter for the sight of anyone else. He shakes his head as he makes his way back toward the arena…

JR: This one is far from over, I guarantee that…..

6CW Proving Grounds Results 7th December 2020 Empty Re: 6CW Proving Grounds Results 7th December 2020

Post by JJJohnson Tue 08 Dec 2020, 10:07 am

*There is an argument ensuing between GazzyD and Uryu Ishida backstage. Gazzy is mad and blaming Uryu for bringing Ethan Shaw after he and his wife. Uryu apologises and promises to deal with Shaw but Gazzy isn't interested and warns Uryu to stay away. Gazzy says if Uryu really cares for Christy then he'll keep her safe and leave her alone. Gazzy walks away leaving Uryu looking downbeat

*Tyler Roth is back in the building and Renier Grohl approaches. Roth understands the nature of the game, an eye for an eye, and that what happened in his match was retribution for his actions. He isn't going to b1tch and moan or complain or demand a rematch like Kramer but what he does want is Kramer himself at World's End. Roth promises Grohl that the last thing this company wants or needs is to make an enemy of him because he'll rip the whole operation apart. Grohl says Roth is in luck because he has just been informed that Roth-Kramer will sign contracts next week for the inevitable showdown. Roth nods his head but says there is nothing lucky about it because luck just ran out for his enemies.

*Jimmy Phillips is as brash as ever when interviewed by Travis Sharp. The "Haunting of the Hall of Fame" laughs at what he did to Daniel Reilly and tells Sharp that he won't let anymore "has beens" steal the limelight away from him. Phillips says he's on the best run on the roster and he deserves his shot. He is disgusted at being overlooked and adamant he should have been in the tournament for the world title. Phillips says he will destroy Uryu tonight and make the 6CW Council recognise that he is number one attraction on this roster.

6CW Proving Grounds Results 7th December 2020 Empty Re: 6CW Proving Grounds Results 7th December 2020

Post by JJJohnson Tue 08 Dec 2020, 10:07 am

Bout 6
Jimmy Phillips vs Uryu Ishida

*Jimmy Phillips arrives first to a crescendo of boos before Uryu walks out to a hero’s ovation.

*Phillips takes control early with his power game but Uryu comes back off the ropes and counters a pop-up powerbomb with a dragonrana for a two count. Phillips gets up and looks for the “Game Changer” clothesline but Uryu dodges and nails a calf kick, taking Phillips off his feet, before nailing a standing moonsault for another two

*Uryu goes out onto the apron for a springboard forearm but Phillips catches him in mid-flight and scores with the snap powerbomb. Phillips hits a pumphandle slam for a two count-out

*Phillips sets up for the “Touchdown” but Uryu elbows free and then connects with a leaping enzeguiri that sends Phillips to the corner. Uryu follows in with a shining wizard and then scores with a springboard bulldog off the ropes for another two

*Uryu climbs out onto the apron again but this time Phillips recovers and clocks him with a right hand. Phillips grabs the ropes and yanks them so that Uryu is catapulted into the air and he catches him for a running powerslam for a two

*Phillips looks for the “Game Over” submission but Uryu sits down into an inverted jawbreaker and then springboards off the ropes for a tornado DDT. He goes up top for the “Split Second” but Phillips rolls from the ring.

*Uryu drops down onto the apron and he runs across for a flying dropkick on the hard flooring. He grabs Phillips and dumps him back into the ring.

JT: Uryu getting the upperhand now…..The “Haunting of the Hall of Fame” in trouble…

HE: Phillips will win….Uryu is just another old-timer ready to be sent into retirement….

The referee checks on Phillips, who is holding his neck, as Uryu begins to climb back into the ring. He gets on the apron but then his legs are swiped and his chin smashes down onto the apron…

HE: Nothing more than he deserves...he struck first…

JR: I think we all knew Ethan Shaw would mount revenge for what happened earlier tonight…

Ethan Shaw drags Uryu back up and smashes his head off the ringpost before dumping Ishida back in the ring. Jimmy Phillips has miraculously recovered from his injury as he brushes the referee aside and then drags Uryu down to the canvass in the coquina clutch….

JT: I think Uryu is already unconscious from those two compound impacts to the skull…

HE: Well if he wasnt then he is now…

Phillips has the submission locked in deep and it is clear that Uryu is offering no resistance, his eyes closed, so the referee has no choice but to call the bout off. Phillips keeps the “clutch” locked in for a few more moments and then releases….

JR: Jimmy Phillips picks up a big victory here tonight at Proving Grounds…

HE: It was never in doubt…

JT: It damn sure was….Uryu had control of this bout until Ethan Shaw’s intervention...Phillips has capitalised off that huge assist…

JR: And the issues between Uryu and Shaw increase once more…..this has to come to a head sooner rather than later…

HE: Uryu would be an idiot to push it with Shaw…..he’s asking for a deathwish…

JT: So he should just let Shaw keep attacking him….and anyone else he feels like? Shaw is a dangerous individual but he cannot be allowed to continue unchecked…

Ethan Shaw backs up the rampway with no trace of emotion on his face as Jimmy Phillips has his hand raised whilst standing over the prone form of Uryu…

HE: Jimmy Phillips once again showing why it is a disgrace that he wasn’t involved in the race for the championship…..he’s the hottest talent on the roster right now…..name me the last time he lost a match?

JR: In all honesty I can’t….

HE: Exactly…..this man deserves his shot….he deserves some respect on his na-AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!

JT: JUST LIKE THAT….RKO…..RKO…..RKO!

The crowd in attendance are going nuts as Daniel Reilly comes through the back of the building, into the ring, and spins Phillips around before drilling him into the canvass with the leaping cutter…

JR: Call that payback…..Jimmy Phillips cost Daniel Reilly his chance to become TV Champion earlier tonight….

JT: The King of the Streets got loose from that cupboard he was locked in and he struck back on Jimmy Phillips…..

HE: This is a scandal...how dare he….

JR: Reilly has never been a man to allow anyone to take liberties with him….Phillips was stupid to think there wouldn’t be vengeance…

HE: Daniel Reilly is the stupid one because his comeback is about to become extremely short-lived and painful…...he just angered the “Haunting of the Hall of Fame” and he can be assured that Jimmy Phillips will be coming for him…

JT: I’m pretty sure Daniel Reilly will welcome the challenge…

Daniel Reilly stands over Jimmy Phillips, tilting his head from side to side, with a smirk as the crowd chant “Reilly” and “RKO” over and over again.

*Jackson Jackson is interviewed by Timothy Allen. Jackson is hurt by CJ's attack last week and admits he thought he could help his "friend" but believes now he is beyond help. Jackson doesn't recognise James anymore so if dirty tactics are his thing now then JJ is more than happy to indulge him here tonight. Jackson says CJ has no idea what he will do in order to become 6CW Champion again but tonight he can find out firsthand. Perfect Jack walks in and wishes Jackson luck. He warns him to be careful and expect the unexpected because this isn't the man they once knew. Jackson nods his head and walks toward ringside

*Uryu and Christy James are talking backstage after Christy sought Ishida out. Uryu tells Christy about Gazzy's warning and admits he wants to keep her safe. Christy says they are friends and Gazzy needs to accept that but Ishida is insistent that the most important thing is keeping her from danger and if that means staying away then that is what he will do. Christy looks hurt and then Fleur Michaels interrupts to tell them Uryu is scheduled to fight Ethan Shaw next week. Christy looks very concerned as Uryu nods his head.
*The final scene shows Clarke James rewinding and rewatching his attacks on both Marshall Murdoch and Jackson Jackson. There is no emotion on CJ's face as he continues to watch with intensity. We see CJ pick something up as he leaves the room and heads toward ringside. He pauses outside Perfect Jack's locker-room and stares at the door for a moment before placing something there. CJ walks off toward ringside and then we see the replica UK, Tag Team and International Championship belts that the two men used to carry

6CW Proving Grounds Results 7th December 2020 Empty Re: 6CW Proving Grounds Results 7th December 2020

Post by JJJohnson Tue 08 Dec 2020, 10:17 am

Main Event
6CW Interim Championship Tournament
Clarke James vs Jackson Jackson

JT: Well ladies and gentlemen it is main event time…

JR: And the connotations of this one go beyond just the usual….not only is this the last quarter final of the 6CW Championship tournament but we are matching up two very good friends….two friends who have become estranged in recent weeks….

JT: What once would have been a bout filled with respect and honour is now tinged, no flooded, with malice, mistrust and foreboding…

HE: Because Clarke James has finally woken up? I don’t see why he should be vilified for starting to realising his potential…

JR: There are better ways to find yourself than by smashing a glass bottle in your best friend’s face….Clarke James has revealed a very dark, malicious side to his character since Born in Fire and that has alarmed the rest of his friendship circle including Perfect Jack and tonight’s opponent Jackson Jackson…

JT: If you ever believed it was just a one-off when Clarke James attacked Marshall Murdoch at Born in Fire then look at two weeks ago….he blindsided Jackson Jackson on way to victory, he doesn’t care who he has to hurt...

JR: Clarke James believes this is his time…..he wants his respect and top position in this company, he has shown he will do whatever he has to in order to get it….

HE: Which makes him a winner….people hate on those who are bettering themselves but I applaud Clarke James initiative…

JT: And you condone his actions?

HE: You cannot conquer without bloodshed…..it is an unfortunate side effect of war. Clarke James is changing the game…

“Blind Faith” echoes out to tumultuous boos from the audience as Clarke James walks out onto the stage. CJ is dressed in his overcoat, his hair down by his shoulders and his beard overgrown. He stares around the arena, no emotion on his face, and then makes his descent to the ring…

JT: Liam Wood, Robin Reborn and Perfect Jack have advanced so far to the semi-finals….there is one position to fill….but who will seal it?

JR: You can feel the air change whenever Clarke James is in the vicinity right now….the anticipation of something about to happen seems to follow him…

HE: Because he’s must see TV….Clarke James would be a worthy world champion because every 6CW fan is tuning in right now to see what he does next…

CJ climbs up into the ring as Michael Bird and the referee keep their distance. CJ removes his coat and then “Take me to the hospital” blasts out, met by unanimous cheers from the fans in attendance…

JT: At one point these men were very good friends…..inside and outside of the squared circle….

JR: During Clarke James “Co-Champion” days with Perfect Jack they were often seen partying with Jackson Jackson amongst others….these men formed a bond….

HE: But where did that get Clarke James exactly? Because after he lost those titles he was given nothing…..Perfect Jack went back to being gifted opportunities off his name value, Jackson Jackson became 6CW Champion…..and Clarke James was supposed to just accept the position of carrying Marshall Murdoch’s bags? I don’t think so…

JT: Clarke James has always had talent….he’s always been capable of greatness….but his methods have alienated everyone who ever cared about him…

HE: That won’t matter a damn bit when he is the 6CW Champion….

JR: If and that is a big if….because tonight he must defeat a former world champion, and a man on a mission….Jackson Jackson is here and he looks all fired up…

Jackson Jackson walks out from the back and his usual bravado and swagger are nowhere to be seen. He rips off his jacket, daggers in his eyes, and then begins to sprint down the ramp toward the ring…

JT: Jackson wasting no time here….he’s tried to reason with Clarke James, tried to make his friend see sense but it’s to no avail…..

JR: STRAIGHT OUT OF THE MURDOCH PLAYBOOK!

CJ moves toward the ropes to cut Jackson off but JJ dives under the bottom rope and straight through his opponent’s legs. Jackson scrambles up and runs off the opposite ropes as Clarke turns around and explodes with a flying knee strike to the face….

JT: Marshall Murdoch’s “Drive By”….Clarke James just had a rude awakening….Jackson Jackson is not playing around here tonight….he’s here for his pound of flesh….LOOK AT THAT!

James rolls from the ring, holding his jaw, but Jackson isn’t willing to let him rest as he sprints to the ropes and dives out with a tope suicido takedown that slams CJ down on the concrete, sparking cheers from the audience…

JR: All fun and games are out of the window tonight for Jackson Jackson…..he knows Clarke James is beyond his help now and he knows what CJ did to him last week….he’s got nothing but payback on his mind…

JT: Do unto others before they do to you….

The referee pleads with Jackson to bring the action in the ring and start the match but JJ shakes his head and slams his hands against the plexiglass barriers, working the crowd. He then drags CJ to his feet….

JR: Straight to the eye….it’s becoming somewhat of a Clarke James trademark…

CJ jabs Jackson in the eye, temporarily blinding him, and sends his foe staggering away. Clarke takes a moment to get himself together and then follows…

JT: But Jackson isn’t about to wilt, he knows the danger he is in here…

Jackson kicks out at CJ’s gut and then he grabs him and slams his head off the top of the steel steps. Jackson then pulls CJ in front of the announce desks and nails him with a vertical suplex on the concrete…

JR: Clarke James may be getting his just desserts here tonight….

HE: Look at you condoning this senseless violence when you vilified CJ for it…

JT: This is an assigned fight….Marshall Murdoch didn’t have a damn clue what was coming at Born in Fire…

Jackson swivels his hips and three times he delivers a suplex on the solid flooring, leaving Clarke James writhing in agony…

JR: I don’t think anyone was expecting this one to start out like this…..Jackson Jackson is 100mph and in no sign of slowing down….

The crowd’s noise is turned up another notch as Jackson begins ripping the coverings off of one of the announce tables. He launches the monitors on the floor and then he drags Clarke James up and suplexes him on top….

JT: Jackson has got some bad intentions here…

HE: Lookout, Clarke…..

Jackson backs away and then climbs up on the apron. He looks over his shoulder, at CJ prone on the table, before springboarding onto the middle rope and he flips backward into a moonsault….

JR: JACKSAULT!

JT: SWEET MOTHER OF GOD….

HE: Forget it….

6CW Proving Grounds Results 7th December 2020 Empty Re: 6CW Proving Grounds Results 7th December 2020

Post by JJJohnson Tue 08 Dec 2020, 10:17 am

There is an air of anticipation as Jackson launches through the air for the aerial assault but CJ rolls off the table in time as Jackson smashes through it. The front structure of the table remains upright during the initial crash and crushes into Jackson’s ribs (HBK-Angle Wrestlemania 21)…

JR: That was horrific to watch….Jackson Jackson’s ribs may be destroyed…

JT: Jackson put it all on the line there….he wanted payback…

HE: And now he’s a battered wreck….Jackson Jackson allowed emotion to control him and now any hope of regaining the world title is over…

JR: And look at Clarke James…

Jackson Jackson is doubled up on the floor, blood trickling from his mouth, as the referee kneels next to him to try and ascertain the extent of his injuries. Clarke James is leaning against the ring apron with his eyes firmly locked on his opponent, his dark eyes glistening with intent…

JT: Christmas may have come early for Clarke James here tonight…

JR: And whatever injuries Jackson Jackson has now may end up being the very least of his worries…

The referee holds up his hands to make sure CJ stays back but James pays no attention as he grabs Jackson and drags him up. Blood continues to trickle out of Jackson’s mouth as he is thrown under the bottom rope…

JT: Officially, this match is just beginning….

HE: If the referee had any compassion he’s wave it off…

The referee once again tries to plead to CJ’s better nature but he is shoved aside as James climbs inside as well. Jackson is clutching his body as he stumbles up and he staggers around into a spinebuster from CJ…

JR: And look at the damage that spinebuster, alone, just did…

The ring shakes from the impact and Jackson rolls over on his knees, more blood from his mouth, as CJ kneels next to him and just stares down. CJ stands as the referee goes down next to Jackson once again and asks him if he wants to give up…

HE: If Jackson has any sense he’ll live to fight another day and give in…

JT: Quitting isn’t in Jackson Jackson’s nature….whether right or wrong he would rather be carted out of here…

JR: Maybe he should be saved from himself…

Jackson indicates that he wants to continue so CJ grabs the official and throws him aside. James takes a full stalk position as he waits for Jackson to get back to his feet…

JT: James knows that Jackson is seriously hurt…..this man was his friend and yet there is zero compassion in his eyes….he wants to add to the misery and pain….

JR: CJ looking to finish….looking to book his slot in the semi-finals…...FAITHLESS

Jackson stumbles around and into CJ’s path for the “Rock-bottom” but Jackson counters quickly with a variation of the “Mic Check” out of nowhere, drawing huge cheers from the crowd…

JT: Jackson Jackson is not done yet….the former world champion is showing the exact kind of resilience that was a trademark of his reign…

HE: He’s a fool….he’s only prolonging the misery…

Jackson is clearly in a bad way as he goes back to cradling his ribcage. He sits on the canvass and looks over at CJ with serious dislike in his eyes…

JR: Jackson has internal injuries…..that blood is a clear indication….

JT: He does and perhaps broken ribs….but he’s still in this fight and still in the hunt for the 6CW Championship…..as long as that remains a fact he will continue to rise….

HE: And he will fall…

JR: Jackson just needs one big shot….

Jackson uses the ropes to get to his feet and although he winces with every movement he continues to move. CJ is blinking in pain and disbelief as he starts to get to his feet and Jackson kicks him in the gut….

JT: JACKED OFF!

JR: HE BIT HIM…..MY GOD, HE’S A SAVAGE!

Jackson flips CJ through the air for the pumphandle flatliner but CJ lands out on his feet and then on the blindside of the referee he appears to bite at Jackson’s face, around the eye. Jackson pulls eye in pain and astonishment….

JT: Clarke James is out of control…..

HE: FAITHLESS…..A SEMI-FINALIST IS WHAT HE IS!

JR: I don’t believe what we have just seen…..Clarke James bit Jackson Jackson’s face, look at the blood….that is sick…

“Blind Faith” is playing out as Clarke James kneels over Jackson Jackson. CJ has blood on his lip and in his beard whilst Jackson is motionless on the canvass, clutching at his face. CJ slowly gets to his feet and allows the referee to raise his hand…

JT: I’ve seen many things in pro wrestling but the transformation of Clarke James may be the most alarming of all…..I’ve always known Clarke to have an edge, I’ve seen some downright aggression from him over the years, but this is over the and beyond…..he’s an animal, he’s sick….

JR: The line was crossed a long time ago….this isn’t pro wrestling anymore….smashing bottles in people’s faces, targetting their eyes and biting…..Clarke James is pushing the boundaries….

JT: He’s destroyed the boundaries…..I don’t believe there is anything he wouldn’t do to be at the mountain top….don’t forget that it isn’t just anyone he’s done these things to….Clarke James is viciously assaulting those who considered him a friend….so imagine what he’d do to someone else…

HE: Clarke James has finally realised he doesn’t need anyone but himself…..he is the key to his own success….

The referee looks dismayed as he moves over to check on Jackson’s condition and then he stares up at CJ as he realises what he has done. CJ has no trace of emotion on his face…

JR: Clarke James has advanced….he will join Robin Reborn, Liam Wood and Perfect Jack in the semi-finals of the 6CW Championship tournament….but I think the biggest talking point has to be CJ’s actions….because what is this man willing to do in order to win…

JT: I don’t think there is a limit and I think anyone in his way should be worried about that….cmon now, Clarke….

JR: Jackson Jackson’s night could be about to get so much worse….

The referee tries to do his duty and shield Jackson but CJ grabs him by the front of the shirt and pulls him up before slinging him out of the ring. We see Jackson Jackson’s face, blood running down the side of his eye, and then Clarke focuses on him…

JT: You’ve done enough, Clarke…..take a bloody time out….

HE: CJ is sending a message to the rest of the world….nobody is going to stand in the way of his destiny…

CJ looks down on his “friend” before backing away and he hops from the ring….

JR: Thank goodness for that….OH NO!

There are boos and worried looks as CJ rips up the ring apron and he pulls out a bottle of beer. CJ rips the top of it and takes a swig before rolling back into the ring…

JT: He’s going to do to Jackson what he did to Marshall…..someone needs to stop this…

JR: The 6CW Council need to look at CJ’s conduct because this is becoming a serious issue…

JT: This is beyond an issue….the man needs locking up…

CJ stands in the ring and looks down on Jackson again before draining the bottle of the majority of its content. Jackson is slowly stirring, blinking the blood from his eyeline, as CJ grips the bottle in his hand….

JT: I don’t think I can watch him do this again…

“Perfection” rips through the airwaves and the crowd go wild as Perfect Jack comes sprinting down the ramp and he dives into the ring. CJ has already scampered and he drinks the rest of the beer as he swans into the aisleway, looking back at PJ as he does so…

JR: Clarke James just went to a whole new level of darkness here tonight….thank goodness Perfect Jack was here to stop him….

HE: Jack won’t always be there….and he’s more than likely just painted a bull’s eye on his own head….

JT: PJ is one of the men standing in the way of Clarke James and the 6CW Championship so their paths may cross at some point…..but you can tell from Perfect Jack’s expression here that he does not recognise the man he used to consider his best friend….

PJ is staring at CJ in disbelief and then he kneels over Jackson to check on him as CJ retreats up the ramp. Jack calls for a ringside doctor to come as James stops at the top of the ramp and tosses the glass bottle aside…..

JR: Earlier tonight we saw Clarke James return the replica belts that represented he and PJ’s run together….I’d say that on top of this is a parting of the ways…..Clarke James has crossed over….

JT: CJ is lost and I don’t think he can come back….Perfect Jack is realising that...he warned Jackson earlier tonight about what may happen and he was right…

JR: The metamorphosis of Clarke James continues….and I don’t think anyone can quell it…..but will it lead him to the 6CW Championship?

HE: I believe so…

JR: He’s got a great chance but then so do three other men…..in two weeks we’ll find out which two will advance to World’s End to compete for 6CW’s richest prize…

The show ends with Jackson Jackson receiving medical attention whilst Perfect Jack and Clarke James continue to stare at one another.
