No Brock, no party!

Been hard to get excited about it recently, the build has been pretty poor across the board.

NXT Takeover should be a great show however.

My quick thoughts on night one:

Veered from the brilliant to the awful.
Banks is better than that and that could have been stellar.
Rollins/Cesaro is about as good as wwe main roster will allow.
Miz and Morrison get too much prominence, Priest isn’t great as a face like that.
Omos is impressive if you like tall things.
The shout being poorly timed or done in the McIntyre match made the ending really flat.
Just don’t care about Braun, but nice cage rip.
Thought they managed the delay well and allowed some better promos.
Women’s tag turmoil was awful.
Night two has more potential but also could fall very flat if they book it too WWE. Still, all those matches could be brutal barnstormers (tag titles aside)

I enjoyed night one, the women's title match was very good and I liked Shane/Braun too

KO's promo was gold

Smackdown the clear winners. Motive, character and story completely missing from Raw.

The Triple Threat main event was excellent. I dont know if they bottled putting the title on Edge or it was always the plan for Roman to go over but I thought it was really well done. Now they can start building towards Roman vs Rock for the "Head of the Family".

Lashley should have won the title here, instead of on RAW a few weeks ago. Have another Triple Threat with Miz in there, especially if Lashley is going over regardless, and it stops Drew taking another pinfall.

Everything else was pretty much as I expected before I went in. Some highs and some lows. A middle of the Road Mania if ever there was one.

Ciampa vs WALTER was still the best match of the weekend.
