Re: South Africa 'A' v British & Irish Lions, 14 July
Afternoon Fly ...
These came from a sequence that probably came from the slowed down video you saw - looked clear to me there was head on head from this and during the match but to be fair it was more of a glancing blow and Faf got the worst of it which you can see from the way his head snaps backwards and then he goes down holding his head. The ref saying no head on head was the bit I found puzzling.

Hey mate
I think I saw it on Joe sport or sport joe I tried to load the slowed down video/pdf but I was in the office on my mobile so I was pretty carp at it
Bit disappointed with Gats comments about the incident and his comments on the South African coach acting as waterboy

Gats is just taking a dig, it will most likely have the opposite effect of what he is aiming for, but its all gamesmanship.
Rassie took a dig at Gats by repeatedly denying that Gats are not scared of playing the SA A team a second time, he repeated the dig three times in one interview,
they are all just playing the game

Yep not a fan of coaches verbal sparring - wish they'd just concentrate on getting the teams right.

Re: South Africa 'A' v British & Irish Lions, 14 July
I've watched the match again, and as I thought during the game Far's tackle is a no arm slipped up from Wyn Jones chest/arm to Navidi's head, I agree with a yellow there.
I'm still shocked that Am's should directly to the head of Wyn Jones wasn't penalised though, it was direct contact with the head, no mitigating factors, and as much as I hate a lot of these red cards it's in line with them all.

Yes indeed mate, sign of the times unfortunately, it's a social media war zone. Farrell has had form with Faf though
