ECB - Disgraceful Bonuses

News that ECB bigwigs, who got rid of more than 60 staff of late, have been awarded (given themselves?) big bonuses on top of their large salaries, is absolutely disgraceful.

The main man is reported to be on £500,000 a year anyway. Red-ball cricket fans were hardly in love with the ECB before this. They will be choking on their cornflakes at this news.

In a wider context, what is going on at the ECB merely mirrors the appalling state of corporate life in Britain at the moment. Perhaps we can get the anti-vaxxers and Extinction Rebellion to storm the ECB's offices.

It’s been reported that Justin Langer turned down a six figure bonus from Cricket Australia as he felt uncomfortable getting it amongst the redundancies and cutbacks they made due to Covid.
