Randy Orton's 'concussion' REAL!!!
Looks like the concussion angle the WWE started on RAW on Monday was more to do with them covering all the bases than just keeping Christian/Orton apart, apparently he suffered it in a triple threat in Spain on Sunday, there is a good chance he'll not be able to compete at Capitol Punishment.
If that happens and it would be the worst case scenario then I doubt Orton would be stripped of the title, at least I hope he wouldn't considering he isn't likely to be out long.
If Orton is forced to pull out then I actually think it could work in Christians favour and add a real flavour to that feud, time will tell but with how 'publicly' stringent the WWE are now with Concussions.

If it is legit and Christian walks out of the PPV with the title it could get Christian some good heel heat.
Who would you put in the match to take Ortons place though, Sheamus would be favourite but can you see the WWE putting on a heel vs heel world title match.

I doubt they'd strip Orton of the title in the first place to be honest, Though with the way Christian won his first World title he could become a new ultimate oportunist

Re: Randy Orton's 'concussion' REAL!!!
This makes things very interesting.
If it is indeed the case that Orton cant compete, then they have made a major faux pas on Smackdown this week by not adding a certain someone into the match to make it a Triple Threat. That would have let Orton take minimal bumps while the other 2 went at it.
If he cant compete, what about him announce he has to find someone to defend the title on his behalf? That person? Triple H! Would love to see Hunter v Christian and towards the end of the match we hear a gong and the lights go out, when the come back up Christian is hitting the Killswitch and gets the 1-2-3 and wins the title!
Sets up Christian (c) v Orton at Summersla, and also plants the seeds for Taker v HHH II.
After writing all that, personally i dont see it happening!!!

It would be intresting, I'm not a fan of people defending for others anyway, but if that happened the way you said it would then not only would it set up HHH/Taker II but it could also set up Orton Taker for WrestleMania with Orton raging that Taker cost him the title

Re: Randy Orton's 'concussion' REAL!!!
he's currently having a impact test to see if he can compete on sunday according to his twitter.
i went and researched what they is and found the following:
WHAT
•
An ImPACT test measures the effects of a concussion through cognitive tests.
•
ImPACT results are evaluated by Dr. Mark Lovell, neuropsychologist and director of the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Sports Medicine Concussion Program.
WHO
•
All WWE Talent* have been given a baseline ImPACT test.
•
WWE Talent are given repeat baseline ImPACT tests annually.
•
Baseline ImPACT tests are mandatory for all prospective talent during pre-contract screening.
RETURN GUIDELINES
•
If a WWE Talent shows symptoms of a concussion or has suffered a concussion, If symptoms dictate and/or ImPACT scores warrant, WWE will send a WWE Talent for a direct consultation with Dr. Lovell at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
•
Any talent that suffers a second concussion within an annual year from said talents first concussion, that talent will not return to in-ring work until after a one on one evaluation by Dr. Mark Lovell
PREVENTION PROGRAMS & INITIATIVES
•
The WWE conducts a yearly educational seminar for all talent, referees, producers & medical personnel that addresses the topic of concussions. The seminar covers concussion awareness, the WWE protocols for treatment, and the latest medical information regarding this area. The seminar is conducted by Dr. Joseph Maroon, MD.
•
Developmental: In addition to education, the WWE has modified their training program to emphasize techniques and timing of maneuvers to prevent unnecessary blows to the head.
•
The WWE has eliminated using folding metal chairs to “strike” an opponent in the head.
•
The WWE penalizes through fine and/or suspension the following:
–
The intentional use of a folding metal chair to “strike” an opponent in the head.
–
Any blow to the head that is deemed an INTENTIONAL act
•
The Fine and/or Suspension will be directed by the EVP of Talent Relationsthen that WWE Talent will not be cleared for a return to wrestling until he/she passes an ImPACT test and is cleared clinically by a certified physician.
•
ImPACT tests are typically taken by WWE Talent within 24-72 hours post injury.
•
If the post-injury ImPACT results do not indicate a recovery, then that WWE Talent will not be cleared until he/she retakes the ImPACT test , passes the ImPACT test and is subsequently cleared clinically by a certified physician. Repeat ImPACT tests are usually administered 2-3 days after the first post injury ImPACT test
