Smackdown 8/7 Spoilers

The Smackdown Money in the Bank competitors are in the ring being interviewed about their chances. Sheamus hits the ring with a chair and clears everyone out. He says he's in the MITB and wants his revenge for being punted out of his title shot at Capitol Punishment. Christian comes out and says the stipulation for his rematch at the MITB PPV has changed and if Orton is DQ'd or Christian is the victim of poor officiating, Christian will be named the new World champion.

Teddy Long makes Sheamus vs. Christian the main event tonight.

Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase defeated WWE Intercontinental champ Ezekiel Jackson & Daniel Bryan.

Mark Henry looks terrifying and cuts a promo. Same intensity we've seen last few weeks.

Jinder Mahal pins Trent Baretta. Great Khali does commentary.

AJ pins Tamina.

Mark Henry pinned Kane.

The Usos defeated Justin Gabriel & Heath Slater.

Sin Cara pinned Tyson Kidd.

World champion Randy Orton vs. Sheamus ends in a DDQ as Christian attacks both. Orton later clears the ring of both Sheamus and Christian.

Oh and Wade Barrett was on Superstars wrestling a Tuscon local.

He is screwed.

I wonder if he was more coherent than Booker T?

Is it just me or does SD lack some serious main eventers?

Especially face main eventers,although jericho will be back around summerslam.

The e are really running thin on actual main event stars,just goes to show the reliance on the old guard! Cena,batista,Orton are the only ones out of the 00's which are legit me's

From the Noughties, I'd suggest that these are all legit main eventers:

Triple H, Undertaker, Shawn Michaels, Edge, Chris Jericho, Brock Lesnar, Kurt Angle, Jeff Hardy, CM Punk.

Then it wouldn't be too hard to suggest that maybe even Eddie Guerrero, JBL, Kane, Booker T and Rey Mysterio were also main eventers.

I think Daniel Bryan and Cody Rhodes are good prospects to get themselves up the card, given the right backing from the WWE, of course.

Not that Bryan has much chance, barring a miraculous growth spurt...

I was saying wwe only created them 3 from the 00's!



Michael,taker,hhh etc was already their or main event from other companies.

Kurt Angle? Jeff Hardy? Edge? Chris Jericho? They were never main eventers for other companies. You could possibly argue that CM Punk was for ROH, but it's hardly on the same level as WWE.
