Is that you can't get to watch a big fight at a civilised hour......

Used to watching greats like Tyson, Holyfield, Hagler, Hearns, Curry at eight o'clock at night!!!!! Not big fights in the early hours of the morning..

Can't you move this Island closer to the States.......and enter a better time zone...Who Knows our sporting prowess may rub off on you too...

Anyhow c'mon David...do the business!! Boxing needs you.

Let's hope so, Truss.

Would love to see Britain produce a few fat boy, clueless heavyweights.

Trouble with watching boxing in Britain is the influx of overseas lard buckets and gobsh!tes telling us how much better it would be if their countrymen were involved.

Sadly, even with the advances in medical science, none of us will be alive long enough to witness the dawning of a new American HW talent. More chance of seeing Haley's Comet again.

As for quality HW action at a civilised hour, there's always Chisora v Fury on the 23rd July.

It's only envy, Truss. It's just that :

Oh, oobee doo,
I wanna be like you:
I wanna walk like you,
Talk like you, mmm ya hah!
And they say it's true:
A man like me
Can learn to be like someone like you!

If it's a heavyweight fight the ' American time ' would be about fifteen years ago.

I doubt it Truss. Those Germans dont give a slightly different word from the one which Windy has just been forced to edit out because everybody thinks it's wonderful fun to try to beat the swear filter even though Windy has asked, nay pleaded, that people should stop wasting his time by so doing, for no one...

Good point. Its only a laugh anyway Windy. Its mainly a dig at the papers. I hope Murray wins. You gotta favour Nadal I think though

5.00 - 5.30 pm Eastern Seaboard Time. That ought to be late enough for you to have had your afternoon nap, a couple of rusks then settle down with your comforter.

This is a European event. US tv are only showing it to prove that there isn't an American fit to step into the ring with either of them (except for Manny Steward).

Reign of Fire was awful. The Fighter wasn't as good as the hype. Don't get me started on Batman. Machinist was OK. Terminator 4 made T3 the second worst one in the series... American Psycho's about the best thing he's done.

I could say that being as Calzone??? was born in England but wants to be Welsh, and that Matthew Macklin was born in England but wants to be Irish suggests that no one wants to be English

The chainsaw scene was stupidly Hollywood. In the book he kills her, starves a rat, gets a tube and puts it...well I think you get the jist. Book was far more screwed up (hence I enjoyed it)

Its a classic tactic. The other is to go for a pee, put the rhoopy in your mouth (whatever you do dont swallow it by accident), come back, drink some of hers by "mistake" (while spitting the rhoppy in) give her drink back and jobs a good one
