Max Talbot joins Flyers

On the same day that Jaromir Jagr turned down the Steel City for their in-state divisional rivals now Penguiins center Maxime Talbot has signed a 5 year deal with the Philadelphia Flyers.

What does everyone think?

Makes for some interesting Pitt-Phi match ups next season.

I think Talbot will fit in very well with the Flyers. A great signing for them.

A bit sad that we're losing Ryder. His regular season play could be a bit patchy, but his playoff performances were always stellar. His glove save against the Habs this year was one highlight.

Whitfield and Khudobin were already Bruins, they just signed contract extensions.

Don't know enough about Pouliot to comment on that one. The last Hab we signed was Steve Begin and he was useless as a Bruin.

One of the biggest surprises to me was the Avs signing Giggy and Varlamov. They obviously made goalkeeping a priority.
