Adams hybrid irons ... Empty Adams hybrid irons ...

Anybody play with these, or had a hit with them? I've had Ping G5's (graphite shafts) for a good few years now, but am looking for a change. I've never really liked them TBH. Thinking of going back to steel shafts, as my current clubs feel so lightweight it's like swishing a stick of celery!

Anyway, had been thinking about Taylormade or Cobra S3s, but recently played with a good mate who had just returned from a stint in the US with a set of Adams Idea Tech V3 Hybrid Irons. They seem to be much more common over there than here. Had a couple of swings with them, although didn't hit any shots. He's an older guy with multiple health problems, including chronic back, yet still played to his handicap (6) with these round a tricky course. I was pretty impressed.

Any comments appreciated.

From my various trips to the States playing golf (and browsing round golf shops), yes they do seem pretty popular over there.

If they are good enough for Tom Watson..........

Ah well, it seems that none of the 606 posters use them. Maybe I should have gone to St Georges and had a word with Tom Watson! I'll have to arrange a game with my mate again, so I can try them out. None of the golf stores/pro shops in my area seem to stock them. Cheers anyway folks.

Yes, Rossa, they do - including custom fit options. If I decide to purchase it will be via them. Cheers. OK
