After a morale boosting 20- 20 stuffing of Gloucs on Sunday I was hopeful that they could carry the form into their CC game against derbyshise. Things looked good at 97 -6 but the tail battled well and has taken dccc past 300. Doh

July finished well for Glam - holding off Northants. Pleased to see ex Surrey player Walters doing well.... Smile

From 4 CC innings this season (2 of which were not out), Walters has an average of 113.50. Not bad for a ''walking wicket'' ....

I think this second innings 448 was their best batting performance of the season. Northants are a strong side so to hold out for a draw was positive.


Otherwise Glamorgan had a mostly forgettable July.
