Come to mention it, where is everyone, regardless of how we are doing?
In the good old BBC 606 days there used to be many regular contributors.
But now people have scattered across many disparate sites, I'm not sure where they all are.
Anyone got a list of observed postings?

Hi Chris - plenty of Surrey supporters around these parts! Gloucs doing fairly well I'd say overall, tho probably not going to win today's match unless there are some heroics.

Batty to win the match for Gloucs with a six off the last ball?

In your dreams (nightmares?)
Mr Versatile now Battying at number 9.
By the way, we have three Taylors playing for Gloucs today; Beatrix Potter would be proud.

32 off 26 !! Pity it wasn't enough.
Already finished 2nd to bottom in T20.
Will settle for 2nd to bottom in CB40 too if we also make it 2nd to top in the CC. (Currently 3rd, and that north London team have a game in hand. Have you played them recently...?)

Well done tonight Gloucs.
What's the wicket going to be like for the cc match against Surrey - and even more important who will be keeping wicket?!

Corporal, I don't know what's wrong with the wicket, but it's certainly catching...

Re: john bracewell
Chris - all 10 wickets to catches - fairly unusual? Sounds like Surrey bowled with much better control than in several recent cc matches. No idea whether the Gloucs score is a good one yet, but I guess if they chose to bat they would have been hoping to have got rather more....

One can never have too many runs.
14 more would have been nice.

Chris - indeed - another 7 tomorrow would be very useful. Shame for Gloucs that they overlooked the stellar wicket keeping of Batty Could have been a very different story for Ramps and Surrey!

Re: john bracewell
Gloucs supporters - if Gloucs see off the Surrey attack on Sat morning do you think they will want to entice Surrey with some sort of target?
Or will they aim to remove any realistic chance of a Surrey victory and rely on the hope that they might win if Surrey implode like both Leics and Worcs did today?

Re: john bracewell
Woah, you look a long way ahead!
If I were me (which I often am), I would not be thinking past the "seeing off the Surrey attack on Saturday morning" bit.
But if you want some guidance, we were disappointingly very unadventurous against Middx, even with a 1st innings lead of 134; just batted it out to a draw.
Do Surrey implode often?

Pretty frequently this season in chasing limited overs totals! Also a bad case in first innings in recent match against Middlesex. The Surrey cc website recently described our 2nd XI losing 5 wickets for 20 runs as a mini collapse Which suggests we set our sights quite high when it comes to collapsing!
Having said that, we bat down to No 9 (Arafat) and we have a number of batsmen who on their day can score rapidly and heavily.

We are finding ever more imaginative ways of getting out. Ramps out for obstruction Next man out first ball
